I love the atoms pro. When they do work. They will only last a month if that. Currently on the phone(on hold). I have the protection plan but now they are saying I am over my limit. Again they work great for a month then they stop

The Charger Isn’t Charging!!!!!!
I just received Audien Atom Pro, after reading all of the positive reviews, plus got a good deal on Cyber Monday, however, the unit is defective, the charging lights will not light up, either red or green, and will not charge. I wrote emails to support and was questioned by 2 different representatives to make sure the lights weren’t lit. Then another email told me to turn the hearing aids on for 18 hours, then clean them, and then put them in the charger to charge them for 6 more hours. I’m not sure I couldn’t make it clearer in the 7 emails back and forth that the charger isn’t working.
I’ve decided, even with the great price and reviews, I’m going to ask for a refund and look elsewhere if this is what support is going to be like.

These are nice hearing aids
These are nice hearing aids, especially for the price, but don't expect any help from a problem.

They work! Support is lacking though.
Update: July 18, 2021
I gave this company a rave review after the second or third day I had the EV1 aids. But since then I have experienced their support and then suspicious pressure to upgrade to their EV3 aids.
So far, to be fair, the EV1 aids seem to be working as advertised. I sometimes hear constant hissing coming from one or both of the aids and have asked Audien support about it, but they're hung up on giving me advise about feedback and squealing, even though I assure them I know the difference between squealing and hissing.
Then, I got an email from from a Sophie offering an upgrade to the EV3 and I actually started to take the offer, but the EV1 aids both failed while I was online filling out the order form. And I had them on for only three or four hours after charging them all night. When that happened I left the order from incomplete and shut down my computer.
Sophie sent me another email the next day asking what went wrong. I replied explaining the problem and expecting a support-like answer. But Sophie just sent another offer for the EV3 aids without addressing the EV1 failures at all and adding that I had to hurry because the offer was only good for 24 hours and the EV3s were almost sold out.
That kind of sales pressure to me is highly suspicious and coupled with the lack of support to the real issues makes the product questionable over the long term.
My original review follows.
I'm 80 with 8 years military service, 22 years law enforcement, 12 years auto mechanic, and 22 years driving a school bus. Every occupation affected my hearing to the point my high frequency hearing was "gone". I had trouble discerning certain consonants, especially from women and children. The only reason I kept managing to pass the occupational hearing test to keep my license for driving the school bus was that the examining doc always whispered "22" for my left ear, and "44" for my right ear. I knew a hearing would help, but I refused to spend around $4000 for something that can be produced for around $100. I once bought a pair of external hearing aids from bass Pro for $39 and they worked. But I didn't care for the bulk behind my ears and I had trouble keeping the tubes in my ears. So they sat in my desk drawer. The consequence was that I think I was only getting about a third of what people were saying when they talked to me. My wife has been telling me for years that I needed a hearing aid.
But then the Audien ad kept popping up on my Facebook feed. At first I ignored it as just another scam. But one day I took the time to check it out online and found that it appeared legitimate.
I took the chance and ordered a pair. I checked out their YouTube videos ahead of time so I was able to try them as soon as they had fully charged. Long story shortened: They work. I can hear the rain fall outside. I can hear my flip flops as I walk down my hallway. I can hear it when I wrinkle a paper towel. I can turn the TV volume way down. And I found that all with the volume of both aids turned pretty close to the lower end.
I had to come back to add a little something and drop my five star rating to four stars. About the third day I
used the aids, I noticed an obvious hissing coming from both aids. I didn't see anything about hissing in any of Audien's videos or FAQs, so I sent them an email asking about it. Apparently all the support personnel think hissing is synonymous with feedback because that's all they kept giving me remedies for. And that was after I stressed that I knew the difference between hissing and feedback. The hissing is quiet hissing so I can live with it and the benefits outweigh their refusal to recognize the problem.

EV1s keep falling out
I bought the EV1s for my mom. She is a housekeeper in a hospital so she's always moving around and active at work. She told me that the hearing aids keep falling out of her ears. She has switched the different sizes, but they still keep falling out.
Maybe they are for people that are retired and don't move around much...?

I ordered the EV1
I ordered the EV1. I got the EV3 and they are HUGE! Won’t go all the way in my ear, they hang out! Was told there would be a 29.00 fee to return if opened. I had to open in order to find out they didn’t fit. I don’t know what the difference is between the 1 and 3. No body will answer me. It was not explained about the 29.00 fee either.

Larger/Darker than advertised & misleading money-back guarantee.
I purchased the EV1 hearing aids from the company website on Aug 18 and received a confirmation email the following day. On Aug 20, I received another email stating the order had shipped and included the tracking number. On Aug 22 I received another email stating that they had run out of stock on the EV1’s and they were upgrading me (for free) to the EV3. I found this odd because 2 days prior they had indicated that the product had already shipped. And after reading other reviews, it seems that "everyone" gets an upgrade.
The item arrived on Aug 28, safely within the 7-10 day shipping window that is advertised on their website. It came wrapped in a padded envelope and arrived without damage. The overall quality of the hearing aids seems okay, but there is some discrepancy between the product and what is advertised.
1. They claim the aids are “virtually invisible” and “no one will know you’re wearing them. They even show an image of the aids looking smaller than a dime, when in fact they are actually larger than a nickel and you can clearly see them in your ear.
2. The color of the aids appears to be light flesh color, when in fact it is much darker about the color of coffee with cream in it.
The hearing aids did work for the short amount of time I had them in, but to reach the full benefit you are instructed to start out by wearing for short periods of time each day and increase the time over 30 days.
The 30-day money-back guarantee is misleading, and most people will not receive a full refund. When you read the fine print, you see that the 30-days begins from the time you place your order, not when you receive the product. And only applies to unopened, full-price items. Since the order page lists the regular price of the hearing aids at $149 but shows them onsale for $89, that means that no one pays full price, which would void the refund.
While the purchase was smooth and the product is somewhat acceptable, this is not a company I would recommend doing business with and would caution my friends and family to make sure they understand the return policy and that the product is not the same color or size as advertised.
