I get it. Hearing aids are expensive. Some as low as 3000 for the pair and some as much as 7500 for the pair. But did anyone ever stop and think as to why that is? This company claims their product are hearing aids. Correction: they are AMPLIFIERS! The difference between hearing aids and amplifiers? Hearing aids are customized to each individual patient and their hearing loss, difficulties and individual needs. Each person has a different hearing loss and different configuration. When you program a hearing aid, each frequency is adjusted to the patient directly. Not everyone needs the same amount of amplification at each frequency band. Amplifiers do just that. And guess what happens: hearing loss becomes even worse!! Because you are over saturating your nerves with excess sound that is not needed. This company claims that you can adjust for your needs. Adjust what? The volume control? Wonderful. This company does not require a hearing test (the one diagnostic measure that is needed to provide proper treatment). The patient cannot be in charge of treatment! Question why is it that hearing aids are so expensive and amplifiers like these are so cheap? Because they are made cheaply. You try to save money and purchase for 89 bucks, your results will be 89 bucks and probably even worse. I can’t tell you how many patients I see daily that come in this junk begging for help. These are custom devices huh? Custom devices require a silicone ear mold impression to create a hearing aids completely custom to the patient with additional acoustical modifications for clarity of sound and reduction in background noise. This company gives you a standard piece that is made the same for everyone and claims it will fit your year. What about large ears, narrow ears, curvy ears, surgical ears? The profession of audiology exists for a reason. Audiologists are DOCTORS who specialize in hearing loss, balance and tinnitus. We go through a rigorous program to obtain the education we have because dealing with hearing loss is so much more than just purchasing devices. Please think twice and do your RESEARCH before falling for a scam like this. Please a good blender doesn’t even cost 89 dollars and you’re talking about medical equipment that is supposed to stimulate your nerves for signal transmission to your brain for that price. Cmon!!! Go to an audiologist and get the proper treatment and care before you go buying some cheap junk that won’t do anything for you. P.S. good job Audien for deleting my Facebook comment and blocking me. A legitimate company would not have to do that if they were confident their product was doing what it was meant to do

ALERT !! ALERT!! BEWARE OF AUDIEN HEARING  UPDATE My experience with the All New Audien EV3 Rechargeable Hearing Aids was Disappointing  made me email the Family Owned Business the same day I had received the EV3 Rechargeable for a (REFUND). I can not (RECOMMEND) The PURCHASE of the EV3 based on my BAD EXPERIENCE.A Supervisor emailed mailed me want me to send back the product I said why should I do that when the agreement was for AUDIEN HEARING to send me half my money back because AUDIEN HEARING do not pay for the return of the EV3 AND CHARGE A SANITATION FEE.I have not received half my money back it has been many months and AUDIEN HEARING wants me to send the EV3 back for a full refund then I will be out of my money with nothing if AUDIEN HEARING was that concern with customer service they should just return my money But AUDIEN HEARING TOOK MY MONEY THE FIRST DAY I APPLIED FOR THE EV3 RECHARGEABLE HEARING AIDS

No people skills or compassion or admit they made a mistake on how I got my hearing aids without a order number or a record of me getting my hearing aids so they don’t have to replace the ones I bought and will not recharge after only 3 months,they call it a family run Company, but real family have pride and respect for their customers and their products they sell them. 01/14/2021 update: I FINALLY got my $249 that I was charged (in error) 14 WEEKS AGO! After turning this matter over to Wells Fargo I received the money I was owed. If I had not turned this over I am sure I would still be waiting. I was charged $50 in overdraft charges and I know I will never see anything for that. STAY AWAY FROM AUDIEN. You wi thank me. Still no official refund. I just CANNOT understand why Audien could not refund the $249 they overcharged; they could write a check or use PayPal or *something* right? The customer service was HORRENDOUS, they acknowledged they made a mistake and said they were sorry and that's it. They could also offer an apology (Amazon gift card or anything really). Look elsewhere for your hearing needs. If this is how they do business, UPDATE: It has been OVER 30 DAYS since I was charged twice for one pair on hearing aides. ($249 00 x 2) I contacted company, they said sorry it's a glitch, you'll be refunded in 3 to 5 business days week after week the same it's the same. Product didn't work for me, I returned within the 30 days and I got reimbursed. However I am still owed $249. 30+ DAYS LATER AVOID THIS COMPANY.

i purchased in aug got the 17th returned right away as i could see they were too big for my ears. AI kept calling for a refund they said they keep a restocking fee of 29.00. I said they were never i n my ear it didnt matter if i opened the box they charged it. I left a negative review then Amber emailed me if i would remove the negative review shed send me a full refund, I did im on a fixed income and need the money i just get 800 a mo. They siad (Milan) they mailed it then they said no they sent it through some program to my bank then they said no they were sending a check, todaqy 11-14 i get a check for 29.00 Im livid I sent the info to the arizone state attorney generals office as i filed a complaint with them so we will see what happens, they are liars, and cheqating an old lady out of money she needs.

Even 1 star is too much for this (so called) company. Useless products - not fit for purpose. They lie about the products and their service in general. Do not believe them if they offer a refund because it is unlikely that you will actually get it.

I ordered the EV1 on Aug 4. Order confirmed same day. Received email that Aug 7 that EV1 is out of stock and ! will be upgraded to EV3 at no cost. I cancelled the order on Aug 20 after hearing nothing further and having read some worrying complaints about the company (precisely what I an experiencing now.) I received an email confirming that the order was cancelled the same day. The email clearly stated that the item was refunded, it even mentioned the bank account (last 4 digits.) On the 28th I contacted Audien regarding the refund which I haven't received after 8 days. Amber from Audien responded that I will receive my refund after the package has been returned and that all returns must be processed through audienhearingaids.returnscenter.com. I informed her that the item has not even been despatched, never mind received by me so there is nothing to return. But I still submitted a return request the same day (Aug. 28) Then on Sept. 3 I was informed that my return request is rejected for reason that the order was already cancelled in their system so no return label is necessary. Since then there was no response whatsoever to my queries about the refund. Update: I have now received the cheque that was posted in May last year. Par for the course for the South African Post Office. Unfortunately, in the meantime the Reserve Bank has stopped all cheque payments so there is no way I can cash that cheque. Will contact them again.

I ordered the product. Got shipping updates then received a note from Royal Mail telling me there was a customs charge of £75 which is nearly as much as the goods. I have already paid postage. Emailed requesting a refund as they will be returned to Sender as notpaying that much additional postage. Completely ignored I go on live chat. No response. Phone up to be told to use live chat.
