I first ordered the Atom Pro 2 but had a lot of trouble with squelching and sounding like I was in a tin can, and no matter what I did it wouldn't stop. I contacted Audien, and the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful and ended up sending me the Ion to replace them. I sent the Atom back. The Ion doesn't squelch at all, but it still sounds like I'm in a tin can...and I have to take them out when I eat because chewing sounds like thunder inside my head. I have tinnitus very bad from years as a firearms instructor and a trooper standing along the highways listening to big trucks and traffic. It ruined my hearing. When I wear them, it still sounds like I'm inside a tin can, but not as bad as the Atom Pro 2 was. I'll keep them in hopes it will get better. I've had the Ion's for only 2 weeks. I thought getting hearing aids just improved your hearing, I had no idea it caused all these other problems, like pressure in your ear canals and tinny sounds. I need to talk to others who have hearing aids to see what they go through.

Had to exchange them as battery did not last 16 hours as advertised. At the most they lasted seven hours. They would not ship the new ones until I returned the other ones. And so I have no hearing aid for one week as it takes that long to reach me in New Jersey, when they worked, there were great, but I can’t carry around the recharging case all day long. It’s too bulky. Dr a r Polino.

I gave 4**** for the slow response/refund from Audien customer service, when I had to return them..because they didn't work for me.

Ok ,had to return them ,I've lost about 50% of my hearing ,the higher level sounds ,could no way use these around any noise ,it has 4 levels ,and also volume settings, in the car no way on any settings, the background road noise sucked ,then add conversations, put a radio on ,wow volume on lowest needed to block all then can't here the one talking to me .in the house on TV mode or conversations mode it was awesome right up tell a pan was dropped ,or my granddaughter walked in and yelled IM HERE as she walked in the door. I had volume on 2 or 3 . Restaurant mode didn't help on any test. I need ones that only have one setting with a volume only control.not into the games and switching for every situation. More so when none worked for me.as for amplifier they are great ,as for background noise not as much for me. But then again my ears are very sensitive to sudden loud noise with out any aids in them. So I'll go without or guess with my condition need to pay big timefor ones made for my type hearing loss. Sadly.

I decided they were too big for my small ear cannal. I returned them on Oct. 22 via USPS. I am waiting for my refund.

Keep popping out ,I try to push them back inside my ear canal only to find that every time I do this I change the setting that they were in. I've tried different plastic fitting cups but same thing occurs.

I talked to a person named Kevin yesterday about 2:45 pm. I called to ask for a query symbol for my return on 2 pair of hearing aids. He said you don’t have one to have the post office to scan barcode and can print label for free shipping. P O person did this and couldn’t print a label. He told me that I could go to a print shop and get one printed at my expense. I live 30 miles from town. He told me “guess you will have to pay for it yourself” I did just that. Cost me $12.45. Sent with a tracking number. I also asked him to have a supervisor call me back. It is 9:45am on Jan 25, 2024 and never received a call as of yet. He is the only person I have talked to that was rude and arrogant. I am not a happy camper.
