I bought a pair several years ago. Paid fortune at the time. Around 6k. They did not isolate voices as promised. Went to Costco and got Jarbra. For 1,500. They out preformed the Audible in every way. Hearing loss is frustrating. No hearing aid restores natural hearing. Go middle of the road they usually out preform expensive stuff. BTW Costco makes all repairs free of charge. Their hearing test was way more sensitive.

I have severe high-tone deafness and am old. I purchased the expensive Intrigue AI 24 RIC digital aids 7 months ago because of their "optimal technology" and Bluetooth connectivity. Though the fit and battery charging are better than my old NHS aids (Oticon & Phonac), their performance has been disappointing particularly for speech in company, background noise, or the theatre. Bluetooth connectivity is inconsistent for telephone, and impossible to link with my Sony Bravia smart TV. Therefor I was advised to buy a Starkey Starlink Remote Microphone to connect to TV and radio. Problems increased, in part related to the design of the remote. The Remote is a small rectangular black object 15x2x0.5 cm (easily held in one's palm). It is controlled by one large black button and three very small ones (10x3mm), two of which have tiny black ± symbols. The Remote is unsuitable for most persons aged over 60 - who are likely to be less nimble and no longer sharp-eyed. It is a troublesome and costly addition to what was purchased as Bluetooth enabled hearing aids

In March 2023 I bought a pair of intrigue hearing aids. The first pair out of the box was so loud and there was no way to reduce the sound. They were broken. The hearing aid specialist got me another pair which worked for about six months or so. They died and had to be replaced with a third pair. The third pair after a few months had to be returned to be rebuilt. That lasted a few months and now today I had to return the right one which was malfunctioning. All this happened in less than two years. Actually, the two years will be up in March 2025. Extremely unhappy with these hearing aids. I have to drive about 40 miles to get service. Now I will be without the right hearing aid for about two weeks. The first time they were returned I had no hearing aids for almost 2 weeks.

My Audibel CIC hearing aids have just passed the three year old mark. I would give the staff of my local center five stars for the original testing and responsiveness to issues. The product is another story. I've been very disappointed in a pair of hearing aids that originally cost over $4000. Both hearing aids had microphones fail one or more times during the two year warranty period and both had failures at 2 1/2 years that cost me $600 per ear to repair. They are now in a one year warranty period and one of them has already failed twice. The local staff can't even open the case on CIC instruments so they have to be sent to Minnesota each time. They are clearly a troublesome design. On the positive side, they work well when they work and I'm happy with my hearing improvement. I will try another company for my next pair though.

I have mixed feelings about my hearing aid experience. It has now been about a year since I was examined and fitted for my aids. I have no complaints about the initial process, though there was a bit of delay in the delivery of the aids. I suppose they have worked as well as I could have expected, though adjusting is somewhat cumbersome. When deciding which model to choose, I was persuaded by the Audibel rep. to go with one that requires replacement batteries, rather than a rechargable model. Replacements are not inexpensive and I have found that they don't last that long, regardless of the amount of time I actualy use them. Most bothersome is the fact that the Thrive feature is problematic. Any time there is an update, my aids no longer connect to Thrive. The process of re-connecting to Blu-tooth is multi-step and sufficiently complicated that I usually end up calling headquarters to walk me through it. And the Blu-tooth/Thrive feature added considerable expense. Until I reconnect, all the neat Thrive features are unavailable to me.

One your newest Via 2400 and 2400 AI we have had multiple issues with batt drain and connectivity. When we receive it back from repair all they do is replace device but never tell me what the problem is. Then with a new product I have run into the same problem more than once.

I’m sorry to have to go with a three star rating because I love the hearing aids. It’s the office I was dealing with in St. Joe. Very poor customer service. The initial visit went great and went downhill from there. Lost paperwork which cost me time and money. Wouldn’t return phone calls if they weren’t there. I’m supposed to go in for a 6 month cleaning and check up but may skip it. They still work fine and I can clean them. I would recommend the same type of device I have to everyone needing them. They work great! Tinnitus Program didn’t help me much but might for some people.
