awful. I have had to change my phone at least five times due to phone kept shutting off and volume was going up and down by itself. Its suppose to be free but they will charge you 25.00 dollars for a new phone if you have had it over three months. This is how they make their money. They hack your phone so you need a new one after three months then they charge you for a new defective phone. I am poor so I really thought this was going to be free. But its not. The service sucks and the phones suck. Its funny how they want you to send your defective device back. What so they can send it to someone else? Its such a scam. They use to be good now they suck.

The worst customer service in the history of the world. Call 4 times, keep getting people that you can't understand or they keep hanging up on you. Was told, "our tower hasn't been updated, that's why you can't receive calls". No problem sending calls or sending/receiving texts. Can't receive calls, get nothing but the runaround and total B.S. this truly has to be the worst customer service in the history of the world. Told I had to give it 48 hours to update the tower and to call back if I still can't receive calls. My question is, why would it say my number is disconnected if the tower isn't updated? It the tower is down, my phone wouldn't work at all. Do yourself a favor and never use this company. Even if you're desperate, there are way better options. Any of the reviews that are 2 stars or higher are clearly bogus and are from the company themselves. I have a hard time believing that anyone would give them high than 1 star.

THE WORST, MOST INCOMPETENT COMPANY.

I have no data. no internet. 5 calls no help ,endless loop to sprint , t mobile and back. been like this for months, I'm your customer who left, so don't advertise to get me back,

One star is being way too generous, from the garbage phones to the barely litterate staff to the long waits for service, there is no worse service I've ever experienced with any company. DO NOT USE ASSURANCE FOR ANY REASON.

I have a cell phone from assurance so I would be able to make calls and receive calls and texts . It doesn't work, I have called and they tell me all this stuff to do and to wait 5 to 7 business days for the so called towers to be switched? Well its been over that time frame and still to calling. I can't get important texts and phone calls from work. And I checked the coverage map and I am right in the blue area, but still can't make or receive calls or texts. Very disappointed with the phone. And no one can help me!!!!!!!!

Assurance Wireless is now starting to purposely rip people off. They tell you that you are out of time or data so that you will add money to your account when, if you check your phone, they are clearly lying.

I don't where to start with this company as it has never been a good experience. 1st of all there phones are preloaded with malware and become unusable over time. My most recent experience was when I ordered a new phone because only way I could ever make a call was through bluetooth occasionally in my vehicle. I haven't been able to make a call or answer one on my phone for months. Would just get the missed calls hours later. Texting similar results phone constantly in a frozen screen state. 2 weeks after not getting phone in the mail I called to check on status. The customer service agent said my new replacement phone was not sent because I was unable to verify my account during the previous call weeks earlier. I can assure you that is not what I was told by previous customer service agent and a supervisor during last call. They said one would be delivered. If they would just be honest and not lie to people it would be greatly appreciated. Say I need to verify my account first if that is the case. Don't lie and tell me one is on the way. I have also attempted to change my address with them twice now and it is still not updated in my account. So instead of messing with this company any longer I bought a new phone and service from another provider. I informed the lady I spoke to on the phone was my intention and needed the information required for my number to be ported over to the new company. She wouldn't provide the information and said just tell the new company and they can get it from them. This delayed the process of me being able to get a reliable phone even longer. This company has no morals and should not be getting money from the govt to provide people in need with phones and service. I read this company ranks 86th overall in customer satisfaction. There must be no standards for them to keep their govt contract or recourse for not providing a decent service.
