Assurance Wireless is the WORST, and I do mean WORST, HORRIBLE cellphone company I ever dealt with in my life!!! They are absolutely no help. Just horrible customer service! Maybe cause these raggedy cheap so called free phones free they don't care how they treat people!! They act like they care about your issues but they don't cause they actions shows it!! The way they lie shows it. They are BIG LIARS, They are fake as fake money! Just LIE about everything! They will rush you off the phone. I have had them hang up in my face multiple times cause they was to lazy to help me with a problem with a phone etc that they caused. They get on the phone with they overly fake happy demeanor like they really genuinely care & just happy to help you with your issues with they broke & used tracking phones. It's pathetic! Most of them can't speak or understand English very well so it be very hard for me to understand them and them understanding me. So I know they're not in America. It's just HORRIBLE. I wouldn't dare recommend anyone to deal with Assurance Wireless unless they really, really in need for it? They on a fix income and going through extreme hardships and need a phone. And even then I'll recommend anyone I know not to deal with them. Go deal with any other low income cell phone company besides them. Make them LAST on the list of having to deal with having a free phone from. I was Approved to receive an unlimited EBB plan that I was APPROVED for online did the enrollment with Assurance Wireless still haven't gotten!!! I kept getting constant run arounds, was told things by different agents half of them didn't know what they doing & saying? I was told multiple LIES and didn't receive a text message or email considering this matter. The phones also half don't work? The phones lasts about 3,4 months then the phones will act up out the blue whether it's the battery or rub hot, screen barely shows for no reasons. Then you have to call and get another phone after 3,4 months. These are used half broke barely new phones. It's very, very frustrating dealing with Assurance Wireless. I'm extremely disappointed and right now I have nothing good to say about them. I hope one day they'll do better with they service but I wouldn't hold my breath. They are very unprofessional...

Horrible experience!! Sent a Samsung phone without a Sim card. Then told me to wait a week without service until I get another Sim card because they couldn't reverse service back to my old phone. It's hit or miss with these guys. Don't stand in the line of fire!

Ever since T-Mobil took over The Lifeline Assurance Wireless Free Phone Program has bottomed out. T-Mobil has collected the worst of the worst in Cell Phones, if these are "Smartphones" then they have IQ's of about 3 ! Pathetic low level phones from China and what sucks the most is that T-Mobil has instructed it's employees to always be cheerful and friendly when they are screwing the daylights out of you. Barack Obama would wind up in ICU if he knew what T-Mobil has done to his cherished Lifeline Program. You cannot even BUY a decent phone now on Assurance Wireless....one phone is worse than the next ...it's HORRENDOUS!

I order a new phone about every 4 months because the phones don't work past that. They say that they are giving me a new phone. However, the BRAND NEW PHONE is has been preowned, used, refurbished and no less than 5 years old. Last time a checked something brand new was never 5 years old. I want to sell them my brand new tires that have 3000 miles on them and tell them its OK its been refurbished. As you know I mean USELESS. Anyway, my phone went Kabluey and I was on the phone with them along with my niece for 1 1/2 . They told me that I will be getting the new phone in 21 days (day after Thanksgiving) it past no phone, called them back, I will recieve it before Christmas. That came and went,still no phone. Called them day after Christmas,I will get in less then 10 days. That came and went still no phone . They were THRILLED ( or should I say THARILLLED) to tell me that I am getting it in 28 days. They lie worse than a rug. In order to keep there service you can't go buy a phone at the places like Walmart or T-Mobile or any of the stores that you can get a Assurance wireless contract. And if you are in a hole and have a Govenment contract, you are totally down right out screwed. I would rather buy a phone of my choice brand new and not have to get a new one every few months and if I have a problem I can go to the store where I purchased it and have them help me, and not say sorry but the phone is to old for us to even bother. Its not really worth the headache. Do what you have to do to get a better phone and go to another company and pay for it.

I know this is probably going to sound kie some of the other reviews for assurance wireless but hear me out. Alright around Christmas 2020 we were trying to get a phone for my older brother who is disabled and let me tell you, the customer service is terrible! 1. they act like they don't even know what they are doing and then they want you to take their survey and we didn't even take it because they are so bad at their job, its not worth it. I hope they can one day actually do their job right.

The people sound so syrupy and fake happy and yet don't know what they are doing and lie to you. They send useless phones and some that have spyware apps and viruses. Of course they belong to the T Mobile monopoly. Worst company and service Stuck with this company and the Wiko phone. Had many problems and turned off the phone. Asked them to close account but they never did. 25 days later turned on phone and it worked. All the other lifeline companies are no better . 🤑 🤑 💰 is all they way

Seriously both Assurance and SafeLink are equally the nuisance. I have to monthly request service when it supposed to be recertification by year. They always, always, always lose my contract and never even with reference number can they find it or so each of them says. No I would try with one then service turned off or the phones purchase from walmart would act weird and speaker not properly work after 3-6 months of usage. Safelink won't even replace your phone and Assurance say that with every application you have to get a new phone when they know they have ashortage of phones and they could just easily turn the phone back on. Both make you wait 10days before changes. Irresponsible company both as they make it seem like the customer is at fault for not knowing their pins when they do not type in the spoken chosen pin. As well as losing your application and reference number and putting full responsibility on consumers as if the consumer is at fault when the phones are clearly used and their system failed. The reps put you on long holds pretending to send you else where but honestly you just go back to the company call machine just to pretend to have a job. Both claimed I was actively with the other. Recently November 23 this company Assurance, turned my service off. After requesting a supervisor for reasons unknown this company rep just bluntly do as they please saying I requested my phone to be off after saying Oh you hadn't used in 90days. The password I written down and verbally said they key in otherwise like I just got a letter with a completely different pin which the idiot rep insist I make it my birthday I told him Hake no like everyone knows if you're going to do that might as well be 1234 as a pin. Their jerks and make you out to be the bad guy. I mean why would I need a pin if they're going to change it and manipulate it. I got so tired of Safelink dismissing my contract a month in after getting recertified then 6 months then just monthly. I only had the one phone so to claim that someone called in and used a password and turned my service off or I haven't used it in 90days when I just used it the day before not giving me my full minutes or even run over services pure cheats and gimmicks and a holes when you call and change your pin and passwords clearly using our information and selling overseas as I never once spoke to a person who has an American accent not even in the background, I'm not kidding. You won't hear from a Becky, Brenda, Jerry, Mike, Porcha no you hear from skjnf lisli ijnle seriously every single time, even the background sound like an overseas station area every voice in the room sound all the same. Is the government really over this because no diversity in that office.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! ASSURANCE WIRELESS AND Q LINK ARE BOTH FAKE COMPANIES THAT DONT HELP YOU. I WAS TOLD BY BOTH COMPANIES IM RECEIVING A SIM CARD. THIS WAS 5 MONTHS AGO. THEY ARE BOTH PATHETIC DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS ANY BUISNESS
