Do not use this company!!! I have been a Customer for over 10 years! There is not one thing this company does right!!! You have to apply at least 3 times online and call at least 10 times before you actually receive the phone. The phone is a complete and utter piece of junk!! And you can't understand a word they say!!! I'm ashamed about how many people I have referred to them!!! Everything they do is wrong. And this is what our tax payer money is supporting????

Assurance Wireless is not a company I'd recommend
Assurance Wireless is not a company I'd suggest to anybody. They are incompetent in the abilities to preform even the easiest task. Their phones are worthless. They have had to replace 9 phones due to issues and fixing to replace the 10th one now in only 7 months. Phone reception is as poor as the internet reception. They promise ya a upgraded phone to never deliver it to just keep sending you junk phones. They won't let you bring your own phone unless you had purchased it from them which are junk too. You get nothing but lies from their customer support and the lead supervisors. They will refuse to give their corporate headquarters phone number saying they don't have access to it. They will deni you to speak with their direct boss/leader. If you accidentally leave a large SD card in a returned phone they will not even attempt to retrieve it for you, basically they just jack you for it. I lost a 62GB SD card that way. But you will get nothing but promises from them to never follow through with. But plain and simple. Their phones are junk, service is the poorest I've ever experienced in my 54 years of working in a customer service field. In my opinion this company needs to be shut down and needs to be forced to pay back all of the tax dollars they've been paid to supply a good and reliable service to their customers because I have yet to once come even close to any form of satisfaction at all dealing with Assurance Wireless.

What everyone else has already said..terrible
What everyone else has already said. 0 Stars. I have been with them for almost 10 years. In the past 2 years the company has gotten so bad that I will switch. I have serious health conditions. They do not care if you have a functioning phone.

Been with them for 5 yrs but not now
Been with them for 5 yrs. and all of sudden, surprise, they shut off my phone a couple days ago. I spent hrs.with them on the phone yesterday 6/21 and they said because I lost the phone (slipped off my lap while crossing into an elevator in a power chair), that I have to get that out of the elevator's pit and send it back or pay 65.00 to get it turned back on. This is a new rule from T Mobile who took over Assurance Wireless per Ann, the last rep. I am a high risk senior who is disabled, and I live in HUD housing. I don't even get to call 911. This is absolutely shocking and horrible. the first two reps, one had the phone go to the after survey, when he said he was getting a manager, the second one after 40 minutes, I asked him to hold for a minute and he said ok, I was in pain, was only going to be a minute, and when I got back he had hung up. The last rep, Ann, said the rules over and over and then goodbye. I had asked for a manager and all I got was her. It is not worth the hassle so will get another phone company. After 5 years of being with them, you would think someone would have recognized a good customer.

I see people with the same complaints…
I see people with the same complaints and it makes me upset that they are taking advantage of people. I have been without phone service for over a month. I called to ask where the phone is because it's supposed to be there between 3 to 5 days. That was true once. The first phone that I got in January could not be activated. They sent me another phone that would just shut off even with a full charge. They then sent me you know unimax phones, four of them. None of those four lasted more than 2 hours. They promised me either a Motorola or a Samsung phone. I've called them back saying that I have no use of the phone and that I have to use my neighbors. They all say let me make your day, I will solve this for you, I will make you happy, etc. Most of them are very patronizing where I feel they just don't care and giving mouth service. I decided that almost after 6 months of dealing with them, that I am done. I transferred my surface to q Link. I was able to talk to someone who really did care and gave wonderful service. I'm so glad that I made the switch. I was with assurance for over 14 years. I was not expecting this. The problem ran into was when they switched from 3G to 4G. I'd purchased my own phone from them and never had a problem. I'm really hurt and disappointed in them. When I called to cancel they asked me why and I said look at my file. They were very indignant that I was leaving. I was always very polite to them and never lost my temper. Maybe I should have. What good is a free phone if you can't use it! Someone is paying for it and it is not assurance wireless. It is the taxpayers. I worked at minimum paying jobs for 50 years. My tax dollars paid for those services. I am elderly and live alone. That is the only phone that I have. It really is a lifeline to me and I feel that they have taken a life preserver from me. If I'm having problems, a lot of people are. Switch to another phone company if you are having difficulties. It took me a long time to wake up because I had been with them for many many years. I'm still shocked that they were indignant and upset over me leaving. Wow

I want to leave no stars
I want to leave no stars! First of all, they take advantage of people that have to turn to them. They lie, they don't care when they like to you, and don't not try to fix your problem. I called them up saying the phone they sent wasn't working properly. I was just going to cancel the service and pull the WiFi benefit so the government doesn't pay for something I wasn't getting. The person I talked to was trying to calm me down and told me, more than once, I would be getting a Samsung S10, "new to their network". So I decided to give them a chance. Not only did they send me the same piece of crap phone. When I called them to tell them they sent the wrong phone, they just did not care at all they blatantly lied to me, did not try to fix the problem just forced me to activate this POS phone. As soon as I can I will be smashing these phones and sending them back to them. Do not trust this company, they don't care about you.

I was told that I was eligible for an…
I was told that I was eligible for an upgrade phone. From may 12 till June 16 I've called assurance wireless 53 times, sent several emails and 5 copies of a police report because they said they sent the phone but I never received it. I even had FedEx on a 3 way call and they told assurance wireless I never received it. I've been borrowing people's phones for over a month and I'm still waiting for my phone. I'm a disabled senior and I've never been treated so badly in my life. The agents are useless. They all promise you that you'll get your phone but that never happens. As I write this I'm calling for the 54th time. I had assurance wireless years ago and 1 phone call fixed the problem . I don't know what the hell happened to them. They just don't care.

Mountain of Lies
First, honestly, I wish I could've given it negative 'star" ratings. Foremost, I'd advise you to avoid any dealings with Assurance Wireless!!! They do not have 'customer service", They do have what you'd call live robo's. I wasted 6+ weeks trying to get a replacement phone. The phone they originally provided had a number of issues (refurbished p.o.s.). I originally requested a replacement phone on April 29th. It's now 6/16 and no "replacement". I'd logged more than 70 calls to Assurance. Each time I had to repeat my name, address and acct. no#. Proves their reps cannot enter data into a computer. In the time period mentioned, no less than 8 times I was told the phone would arrive in 3-5 days. Assurance reps hung up on me 3 times ...twice when I asked for a "supervisor". (actually, there were dozens of times the call was dropped, but I have know way of proving they perpetrated it.) My experience was they'll lie shamelessly and constantly. My last correspondence with them was 6/15 when a "customer complaint representative" called me. It was clear from the beginning she was not interested in resolving the problems they'd created. Her concern...? the fact that I'd logged a complaint with the B.B.B. I made her aware, at that point, I'd no longer have any dealings with Assurance Wireless. I'll be sending back the junk they provided.
