Absolutely Terrible customer service. I requested transfer of service benefits for three months. Assurance wireless failed to fulfill all requests waiting time is exhuberantly long over an hour most times. Escalations are not taken seriously. Zero contact was made by administration. By far the worst wireless customer service.

They turned my service off for no reason. I mailed in the phone that is broken within a timely matter. Also, their customer service is less than adequate.

This is the worst cell phone company!! F u c k I n g mthr Fkrs!! DUMBAZZ PHILIPINOS!!

Customer service rivals Comcast. Worst. Ever.

Assurance wireless capped me at 2G . It took 3 minutes just to get this page to open up. I cant even get images to open up let alone play any games or watch videos. It's a complete waist of time this joke they call internet. No human deserves this slower then slow wireless data I don't care how low of income they have . It's an insult. This 2G data we end up with is laughable . I do not recommend this low income free phone plan.

Assurance is under T-Mobile's privacy policy and their link sends you to a T-Mobile site that says you have to log in for privacy controls. When you click the log in link, it takes you to a T-mobile site to log in. To log in you have to register. The Register link takes you to a Sprint site. At the Sprint site, I can't register because I don't have a Sprint number, I have an Assurance number. Sprint says they can't help me, I have to call Assurance. Assurance phone support just says "don't worry, your data is protected" and can't explain why there is a "do not sell my information" link on the Assurance site. They say use the website, which is back to square one... link to T-mobile, passed off to Sprint, told to call Assurance... again and again.... I scheduled a callback from a manager twice. Neither one actually called. Sprint offered to schedule a callback from their legal team to explain how to opt out without a Sprint number and they also did not call (I didn't imagine they actually would, but what can I do?) All of the Assurance employees lie through their teeth and explicitly contradict what their site and the T-mobile sites they link to have printed in black and white. Most of them flat out deny being associated with T-mobile at all until I walk them through the process. Then they backtrack and start contradicting what they just told me. After 8 hours of phone and online "support" I still had no access to any privacy controls. The last phone agent told me to cancel the service and contact law enforcement if I didn't like the lack of privacy controls. Not helpful. All of the agents speak English as a second language. They speak clearly but they misuse words and reorder sentences in a way that changes their meaning and I am left to figure out what they are trying to say. This is not conducive to solving problems and it is terribly frustrating. If you think you've gotten bad service from other companies, "you ain't seen nothin' yet."

They keep sending these cheap awful defective phones that keeps breaking. 2 of these "UMX" branded phones broke while simply recharging. You must unplug them immediately when they reach 100% or they break. So no overnight charging. Now they want $40 for a replacement phone, which they can't guarantee won't be "UMX."I have no choice but to cancel their service since their phones are junk. As for service, they use T-Mobile which is very spotty and barely works in my area.

I would not recommend this insurance company. They are a rip off. I called to file a claim and they denied it stating that you can only make two claims in a 12 mo th period. When I asked for a refund for all the months that I was paying for insurance I couldn't use they stated that I had to get it back from Metro. I did a three way conference with metro and assurance supervisor stated that they was getting paid and will refund me but we got disconnected, supposedly. I called back and spoke to Charlie another supervisor was rude and hung up on me. Will let you know how it is resolved. If this is your wireless phone insurance run not worth having.
