Disconnected my service but still receiving government benefits
I wish I could give them no stars. reapplied for service in March or April with Assurance Wireless. They sent me a phone within a few weeks. I lost my phone in September and was told by a agent to reapply since I didn't have the money to purchase a new one. I received the phone in October in the mist of me waiting I found a my old phone and phone they sent out was blinking out dropping calls so I switch my Sim card and had the company to activate my Sim and switch my number to my old phone. On today 12/7/22 Assurance Wireless turned my phone off. In the middle of me heading home talking to a client. I called them to see what was going on and looked in my account I saw I was connected to a 1100 minute plan instead of the unlimited plan I was approved for. Assurance has been getting paid for my previous phone account and after speaking to 5 people today my phone is still off and I told them how valuable having a cellphone was to my job I was told they would give me 15 emergency minutes until my issues cold be resolved. I wax only told about the minute by the last person who was supposed to be the supervisor. The last three agents saw my ACP was hooked to my first account but didn't feel the urgency to change it. The last agent told me three stories of how within 5 days then 24 hours then 2 hours then finally within 3 to 6 hours she could possibly have my phone changed to the ACP program. I express this was their error and they should have something in place yo fix it but as of now 5 hours my phone is still off I've wasted 5 hours of my time to not even having my issue resolved the last lady got frustrated and hung uo like all previous rep did. This company is very unprofessional and robbing the government for money for clients services that are no longer with them. It's very unfair how I was treated by all reps and still they haven't called on my sister phone to tell me what's going on.
