My problem..my phone is off. Ive been told twice i have unlimited minutes but that seems to be only tex. I called a friend and was diverted to them saying i need to pay for more minutes. I spoke to a human in less then 6 minutes. I was told my minutes would be refilled before noon. Its 11:22 am here now. Il add to or edit this tex at noon.

Their free cellphones are not quality. China Android Shock phones poor call quality. They once had quality phones and internet service. Nice customer service. They make you buy a $25 phone after a third request for a new cellphone. Seems like TMobile lacks a quality control. Sprint was better. Since the pandemic , now inflation all customer service and product reliability on most brands and products have gone down in quality. Assurance gets phone supplies from Columbia.

Those people from foreign countries can't even speak proper English. Makes me wonder who hired them .. BUT anyway they sent me a umx u693cl Which died the same day I received it on the 14th. So I called saying "that I want to cancel the service" and they kept giving me the "run around" then they said they were said gonna send me a Motorola phone as a replacement so we will see. Also another thing if you gonna provide crappy unknown Chinese phones at least include a case with it because every online store I looked it doesn't exist. And how are we gonna protect our phones if it gets shattered or cracked?

After speaking with Assurance Wireless Customer Service, I supposedly was being provided with a Motorola cell phone. Instead, they gave me a refurbished phone of a different brand entirely that was defective after delivery. In addition, another replacement phone that was shipped belongs to another customer and the sim card couldn't be activated since it isn't registered to my account. A representative sent me an order tracking number and mistakenly it was a Unimax U693CL phone that is out of service, SMH! I am very disappointed. UPDATE: 2/18/22 — Assurance Wireless finally sorted out the problem and resolved it by sending me an email of my actual tracking number. Hopefully, my new phone should arrive soon.

The phones? will work but are not too reliable. it's free so ?[IS IT REALLY FREE?] I do think it's preloaded w malware, spyware, and? doesn't take a standard USB so don't lose the one that came in the box or you won't be able to recharge. the camera is halfway decent. Get help live w customer service? good luck!

Bad reps! The phone generally works ok, and it is free, so that is good. But if there is any problem, you will be transferred to a rep who doesn't speak English, and will drop the call if the problem is too complicated (happened more than once).

My review is fair and honest. First off Assurance has had some bad customer care but has improved greatly over the last year. I assume since T-Mobil takeover. They seem to operate with the tools that they're given and I pick on no certain person. I am disabled and due to finances rely on this company for assistance. I first signed up approx 3 years ago. The first phone sent to me was Chinese type shipped in a small box with no packing material at all. The phone just bouncing around. No charger, no instructions. It lasted about 3 months and quit, wouldn't hold charge, slow dialing, just junk! I called from my family home phone to tech support (Took 20+ minutes to get them on the phone) we did basic run through couldn't get it to work. I ended up buying another phone from Assurance (on a credit card) for $225, Samsung Galaxy A10e, It turned out to be a refurb. I used it for 6 months and then one day it started to burn a hole in my pants. I called tech support they told me to take it apart and see if anything had attached itself to the battery, crossed wire? Turned out to be no. After this they skirted around the problem and this dragged on for months. I know I spoke with them at least 3 more times with no result. They suggested I buy another phone. Are you kidding I'm on dissability. This is how it was left. They have an odd way to treating disabled. Bought another phone and transferred my Lifeline to Truconnect. What a difference like going from the devil to well you know. Hope this helps someone. Stay away from Assurance or maybe pay the price!! Luck - la
