Extremely poor experience. I was recruited and given an offer letter as a Risk & Regulatory Advisory Consultant at $80/hour, but after completing the onboarding and screener I discovered that the available work was generic AI content/PowerPoint grading rather than risk or regulatory work. Ethos subsequently confirmed to me that there is no separate specialist workstream and that all experts draw from the same shared queue. The systems have been extraordinarily chaotic: contradictory messages about whether I had passed the screener and completed onboarding, missing checklist items, problems accessing and submitting tasks, and a task queue with hundreds of experts waiting which at times would not even allow me to join because it was full. Support has acknowledged a number of these problems. I have $240 showing as due for payment, but today Ethos emailed saying I must urgently provide bank details and complete KYC because they are changing payment provider to Wise; when I attempted to do so, their portal returned an error and would not save my bank details. I cannot say whether I will ultimately be paid, but based on my experience so far I would be extremely cautious about relying on Ethos as a source of income.

Update: After being accepted, I was told I was eligble to join the task queue to start accepting work. For over a week I have been unable to join and have been told it's because there are not enoug tasks for all the people they've onboarded. The queue changes from 150 to 300 people at any given time and I have never once been able to join, regardless of what time of day. Have sunk a collective 13 hours into trying to join a queue to accept work that I have been told I am eliglble for but I am unable to access. If you don't have this kind of time to waste, the promise of $100/hr isn't worth the time investment if you can't access the work and support cannot give an indication as to when you will be able to access the work. I was accepted for a project and received onboarding instructions. The login id I have been sent continues to not be recognized. The Ethos bot sends me in circles, emailing support goes unanswered and instructions given all send me to dead ends. I'm told to post in Slack channels I don't have access to, click Escalate to Human buttons that don't exist, and email support who will respond in 48 hours. Support responded in 24 hours and told me try all the things I'd already told them I'd tried in my original email. They said try again in 24 hours and they'll escalate. I escalated after 24 hours. Four days later still nothing.

I had the same issue as many others. I cant sign into the feather platform because the login info they gave me does not work past the Microsoft login page. This company will ask for bank info and the support will never respond after 24-48 hours. I’ll be reporting this company to the FTC as fraudulent and doing my best to delete any info of me on the website.

I spent so much time preparing to get selected for a campaign. I got the emails “you’ve been selected now hurry up and do the screener” and I can’t login to the feather platform. I’ve missed 2 opportunities now that I was supposedly selected for and have been escalating the issue for three weeks with no resolution. It’s been beyond frustrating. Support ghosts you and there is no way to get in contact with an actual human who could likely solve the provisioning issue in 2 minutes or less.

do not give them your data they are just a fake company any of the real jobs are only created to sell a further elusion of you obtaining work you will never receive any and you will be used to train an ai system which will eventually be sold to other firms to do better interviews. They are also using some very invasive methods. Do not trust do not use they actively try and delete the real reviews here just take a second to go read the ones which are clearly ai written. save your time this place is a lie
