DO NOT WORK WITH MARVIN OR CARRIE!!! ON GREENFIELD AND9 MILE!! If i was you i would run!!!! Far away from this store. I ordered my furniture at the end of May 2019. Every time they came to delivery my things, something was BROKE!!! My dresser was broke at the bottom every-time!!! I ordered a glass table, they broke my table in my house. And wasn't going to tell me. My 2 end table??!! Broke every-time!!! They charge to much, for this cheap furniture!! Once, i finally got everything, and nothing was broke. Mind you, i still don't have my dresser, or my end table's!! And, the pillow's on my couch, is already starting to sink in!!! SMH!! So, i got the replacement on the glass table, they broke. But, the end tables was broke again!!! This is the third time, the end tables was broke, and the bottom of my dresser!!! So, now i don't want the dresser. I go back to the store, pick out another dresser. MARVIN said no worries i can get that dresser for you. So, i'm like okay. But, MARVIN went on vacation, never put my dresser in to be delivered!!!! Okay, when he come's back to work, i say can I get my dresser? He say ma'ma i'm so sorry. They refunded the money back on the card??? Y and who told them to do that. Then MARVIN say's. The gift cards we gave you, for your troubles, someone used them to upgrade you warranty!!! I'm like WHAT is going on!! I said i need some name's!!! He said the 2 ppl that did it got let go!! This is beyond me!! Mind you i still don't have my end tables. I pick my things out in May 2019. Its now Aug 2019 and i still don't have all my stuff!! DO NOT!!! I REPEAT DO NOT!! GO TO MARVIN OR CARRIE!!! THEY ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY!!! PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY SOME WHERE ELSE! ITS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

Bought recling sofa and recling rocker chair on 9-12-2015.Bought extened 5yr protection plan.The furniture is junk and the extened protection plan as well payed 1,407.00.It is now almost 4yrs old the power reclining does not work the one end of the couch is sunk down awful mind you that this is where I sit and I weight 115 lb so it's not because I'm a large person it's falling apart it looks like trash my husband and I live here and we are in our sixties we do not have kids jumping on it or abusing it don't buy furniture from Art Van it is total garbage and this is where mine is going on Tuesday in the garbage because when I called they said the only thing they will do is remove stains. That's surely not what they told us when we bought it in 5 year warranty does not mean just to remove stains save your money by elsewhere I give them a - 0 rating.A big F!!!!

I spent $4000 on garbage especially the wood They gonna show you the good quality And then they ll send you the rotten one

Purchased recliner, loveseat and sofa on March 3-20-19. It was LazBoy. First time it was sat on the fabric stretched/wrinkled. Because I didn't notify them within 7 days they were only willing to give me store credit, charge me for pick-up and 25% re-stocking fee. After weeks of trying to get a credit on my credit card they finally came through. After much negotiating they did not charge me pick-up or re-stocking fee. You have to stay strong in what you're asking for them to do. It takes perseverance to get this accomplished, but from what I'm reading they're don't need anymore bad advertising/complaints. Should have checked their reviews before I bought their furniture. I've had LazBoy furniture twice before with no issues, so I would say be careful where you buy it. Hope this is helpful to someone as naive as I was........don't take no for an answer.

Was talk into a 8000.00 mattress but did not tell everything about we are lying on in the store We got our home and the same night I called and said it’s not the same. Feel and cool Gave a none breathable mattress pad that makes your body sweat If you don’t put a pad on all warranty off so you buy a breeze mattress that cools and the pad they give you you sweat all night long the you could have bought a 3000 dollar bed that would have the samething

The service is just ridiculous. I ordered my bed set on July 1st and scheduled my delivery date to be the Aug 3rd. They have a month to get my stuff together. On Aug 2nd, i get a call saying that they cant deliver it because they dont have one of the pieces needed to assemble the bed. Just to remind, this not a free delivery. I paid $139 for delivery. Now, they want to re-schedule it to a week later. I just cant stay home whenever they want to deliver it. When asked to deliver on Sunday or monday, they straight up say they dont deliver on these days. What happened with fixing your mistakes guys? You should start owning up for your mistakes and provide some good customer support by delivering the items without causing inconvenience to the customer. I would expect you to deliver it when I am available (Sunday or Monday) or refund my delivery fee for the inconveniences caused by you. These are the kind of businesses that dont deserve to do well. No wonder they are ready to be bankrupt.

I bought a $3,500 leather sectional from Art Van Furniture in Downers Grove, Illinois, in 2017. The dye is coming off of the brown sofa. It looks terrible. I was told I would have to pay to get it repaired! I would never do business with Art Van. I do not recommend them at all.

Is there less than a one-star rating possible? I agree with the other reviews, don't shop at Art Van Furniture if you want good quality and good customer service. I purchased a glass top table and chairs from them back in 2016, of which the chairs basically came apart after 2 years, but I decided to give them one more chance. I went to the Harwood Heights, IL store to purchase a wood table this time, and the salesman clearly knew I was trying to match the wood cabinets in my kitchen because I had photos with me that I showed him. The table color that was delivered to me did not match at all and was a much darker brown than what I saw in the store and not what I was expecting to get. It was clearly not the same as I saw in the store. I called the store to return it, and after much discussion, I was told that I would only be charged the $80 delivery fee and and not a restocking fee and the rest of the money would be credited to me. However, I was charged over $60 more than the original $80. After making yet another call to their billing department to get the $60+ credit, and again being told I would have the additional credit by the end of that week and again, that I would only be charged the original $80--it's a week later, and still no additional credit. I called the store yet again today and was told by the department manager that I was NOT going to get an additional credit and that they charged me the original $80 to deliver it and the $60+ is an additional fee to pick it up! They clearly do not stand by their word, or their merchandise or understand or care about providing good customer service! I will never shop another Art Van store again! Very poor quality furniture and very poor customer service.
