I don’t even know where to start. It was an absolute nightmare just getting the couch paid for and delivered to my house. The people alone in customer service at the actual store are awful and don’t communicate well with customers. Figuring out payment methods and what exactly was needed was just ridiculous. We finally get to the point where the couch can be delivered, we were promised one day and then had to reschedule a couple times because of time management mistakes on their end. The movers were great, and they are quick. Very polite and gentle with the house. Fast forward... my couch was delivered with the wrong cushion. My couch was delivered the week before 8/17/19. I called and had service member come out to assess the couch and he came up with the same conclusion I had, it was indeed the wrong cushion. He ordered me a new one and promised it would be here 3-6 weeks later and I would receive a call to give me an update and set up a delivery time. I called to confirm everything was ordered on 8/21/19 and the costumer service rep told me it had. I am unable to sit on one end of my couch because it is constantly sliding around and there are always gaps between cushions and so far I can’t stand this couch. I’ve spent a couple thousand on a couch that I can’t stand to sit on! Ridiculous! It’s 10/21/19 and STILL NO CALL! I have been trying to call customer service the last two weeks, but between their ridiculous hours and my work schedule I can’t get ahold of anyone. I finally take the morning to call (10/21/19) and they proceed to tell me the cushion wasn’t even ordered until 8/26/19! And they have no clue where the cushion even is at this point. It is 10 FLIPPING WEEKS and STILL no sign of my cushion! I am so fed up and I wish I could send this couch back, but the fee to do so is outrageous. I would give 0 starts if I could. Please, spare your piece of mind and shop somewhere else. This is my first time purchasing a big piece of furniture like this and I will NEVER go back here. When I have spent this much money on a couch and it’s delivered with the wrong cushion I expect a new cushion in a timely matter. Especially when a time is promised. I purchased this couch in Shelby Township, just off of Hall Road in Michigan.

I would give Art Van zero Stars if I could. We had ordered a chair and drove an hour and 15 minutes to pick it up. They had ordered the wrong chair. So they told us the following Thursday they would be up in our area and deliver the right chair. However the following Thursday came and the delivery people brought the chair in and tried to put it together only to find that it was made wrong and would not fit together as it should have been. It was defective. So they told us they would deliver a new chair the following Thursday however when that chair came it was defective also the frame was broke and it was crooked. So they said they would deliver the following Thursday a new chair. By this time I'm upset. But agreed to let them try one last time. So they came this last Thursday. Only to have the two delivery drivers drop the chair on their way in the house and rip it. Not only that but the reclining part of the chair would not come back up when you put it down you had to manually go around to the back of the chair and push it forward which you should not have to do. So they left the chair and I called Art Van and told them I'm done they need to pick their chair up and I'm not purchasing it. So they set it up for the following Thursday to pick it up. I let them know that day that it would have to be before noon because I had appointments scheduled in the afternoon and I've already canceled appointment the past 3 Thursdays because of their mistakes and I'm not going to cancel my scheduled appointments again. I called two days ago on Tuesday to make sure that they knew that it was to be before noon. So today Wednesday the day before delivery we get a text saying they will be here between noon and 3 p.m.. very incompetent lost all hope in anything to do with art van furniture!

They are very stupid. The salesperson makes a promis and at delivery time, 2 men show up and disbute everything saleperson promis. When I called the store, they just they are sorry and there is nothing they an do. I wonder how they do business?.

Reclining sofa literally fell apart after 8 months. Plywood frame laminating glue failed... Art Van says “No Factory Warranty” because it was purchased at their Outlet Store. Read ALL of their fine print, and prepare to pay significantly extra for one of their warranty programs if you expect them to stand behind the garbage they’re peddling there.

I do not recommend shopping here. It is Over priced. I bought a coffee table that was extremely expensive it came with a crack on it and it is not in mint condition. I also ordered a kitchen table that never got delivered and they failed to tell me it was discontinued and didn’t even offer a refund. They also scheduled a time to deliver and I work full time and the delivery guy calls and says I need to come now at 9 am when they were scheduled to come at 12-3. For the amount of money I spent here I expect great quality furniture and great customer service.

DO NOT SHOP AT ART VAN FURNITURE!!! DO NOT GET THE EXTRA WARRANTY, it does nothing!!! The quality of the furniture is horrible. We purchased 8 pieces of furniture in June 2017, the recliner was broken within 6 months and by 1year the cushions on the sofa began breaking down. It is just my husband and I so it isn’t like we have kids jumping on it!!! We were going to buy new foam from them for $319.00 than they wanted us to send the cushion covers to them so they could stuff the new foam into them but wanted us to pay shipping both ways $99.00 each way......so 500+ to replace 1.5 year old furniture cushions on a sofa I paid $1000.00. Do yourself a favor drive right by don’t even stop!!!!

Never again. Bought a floor model, and all the hardware was missing when brought home. Personnel @ customer pick-up had the personality of a brick, and assured me the hardware was in there somewhere.. Salesperson was only concerned about the sale...floor model turned out to be same price as normal..

We bought a new bed and chair and a half. We have had a repair person out 3 times. The chair is sinking in on one side ( guy said sit on other side). When you lay on mattress you literally roll off as the bed is breaking down. I am 6' 235 pounds. Art Van refuses to stand behind $4500 worth of furniture and bed. Garbage
