Artsy Came Through, TAG Gallery Delivered - but it was not smooth…
Overall, I highly value Artsy and the access it provides to galleries and artists worldwide. That said, this transaction was unnecessarily difficult due to repeated communication issues with TAG. I had to involve Artsy just to understand the order status. The artwork arrived safely and is now being assessed to confirm the gallery met the printing requirements. Still, I believe Artsy should take a more proactive role when communication breaks down between a gallery and buyer. Despite my reaching out, the experience was disappointing. TAG’s service fell short of professional standards, and I would hesitate to work with them again. After all the delays and miscommunication, some gesture of goodwill from TAG/Artsy would have been appropriate.
