I’m truly renewed and excited to practice what I learned from these enlightened, loving and caring souls. I have committed to a 40 day challenge to practice daily and I know I am creating my best life. I am very grateful to be connected to Art of Living- thankful to the universe for the hook up!

Art of Living's Sky breath meditation program is great! I came in with previous knowledge of breathing exercises and I still found the process stimulating, engaging and highly beneficial. In comparison to the techniques I knew coming into the program, the advantages were in the details. Sky breath meditation was the missing piece in my practice. It makes me feel giddy and joyful. The facilitator had a very warm and friendly disposition and the small group setting really encouraged the group to get to know each other quickly and best of all the facilitator and attendees have the option to stay connected as long as they want which I find is an invaluable gift since you might just want to check in now and again as your experience with the practice continues to deepen.

The course speaks for it self. The staff of volunteers are wonderful. Thank you all for making it the experience it is.

They covered things that I already knew (meditation, pranayama, knowing that life is best lived in the moment) but over the course of the 3 day experience, this information settled in in a new way. I feel this practice is something I can take with me to enhance my daily spiritual practices to bring me closer to the peace and joy that is who I am but I forget.

This retreat center offered exactly what I had been looking for. The food was light and very delicious. The beauty of this place and the surrounding areas were beyond words. I used to visit this place regularly before the pandemic hit us. I just visited it again in September and experienced the relaxation/peace that I had been missing. I was surprised to see how this place was very well maintained despite of being short staffed. I would highly highly recommend this place.

It was a pleasure to drive to the retreat itself. The directions provided on the website guided me safely to the destination. It is better to arrive when the day is still light so we do not miss the smaller turns. I found checking in at the retreat to be easy and streamlined. It is clear that the people are here to take care of you. They are very warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean. The dining hall is set up really nicely. There are small eclectic spaces set up where you can experience a quiet moment as you enjoy the food. A piano is also there for some music enthusiasts to entertain the guests. The food was so tasty, varied cuisines each day and catering to any food restrictions guests may have. I really enjoyed the wholesome food with bursts of flavors from different parts of the world. Meditation hall is beautiful with the fountain and swans in the front. The dome shaped hall is wonderful to do the meditations. They also have smaller areas for conducting events with our groups. The view of the blue ridge mountains is amazing from each location. I was there to be part of the silence course. It is a very powerful experience with deep meditations, processes that teach you not on just intellectual level but more experiential level. Came back renewed and free from the stress.

Artofliving Retreat Center at Boone is a great place to take time off and be with your own Self and the beautiful mountains. Deep meditations, healthy and yummiest food , hike in the silent trails make it a complete vacation.Would love to go back again.
