I will give the products and service 5 stars! The instructions and installation videos require more work however, a rating of 4. I am a finish carpenter and the nuances that affect the install would have been helpful. It is true that no set of instructions or video can capture all of the different conditions that affect install. A portion of the instructions that come with the product and certainly the videos, should address 'what ifs' that tell us what we do not know; there are some very important relationships that exist between the width of the door, the door stop and the placement of the door guides - at the bottom - that should be called out. I installed my first two sets in my own house using doors that I made. Had I attempted to install my first door in a client's house I might be performing this job twice... But again, the products and service are top notch and I will purchase from you gain. Michael

I built a barn door for our bedroom and love our hardware fro Artisan. The only problem I ran into was that the predrilled rails are drilled on center and the holes on the end for the stop were not the spacing for normal beams so I actually needed a longer rail then they had specified. However, their customer service was extremely helpful and gave me many options to get the rail up perfectly.

Your mid-century 3-panel barn door is beautiful, but your shipping, hardware and glass finish were poor quality. The door and hardware were shipped with no instructions. This information was not down loadable from your website. We finally called and were emailed the instructions to hang the door. After spending more time trying to determine how to hang the box track, I called and found out that the necessary spacers and instructions were also not included in the shipping. Since we had already hung the door, we decided not to use the box cover. However, the worst part was that we had paid an extra $50 for frosted glass. Instead of real frosted or etched glass, it was normal glass with a cheap film covering that washed off when we cleaned the glass. Please refund the extra charge for frosted glass!!!

I ran into a number of issues getting my doors installed and needed some additional hardware to get them hung properly and safely. I worked with Scott a number of times to talk through options and he was able to help me figure out the exact parts I needed. I also had one of the door hangers arrive damaged and they sent me a replacement without any questions! They are a great group of people to work with and their products are outstanding.

The people at Artisan were great. From design to fulfillment they were professional and extremely helpful. I would purchase from them again in a second.

Order came very quick, customer service very pleasant too! Hardware very sturdy and strong! Will only order from them here on out!

It was a super easy install, and parts look fantastic!
