I bought a brand new RO filter (Filter 3), which completely blocked the water flow after just 5 days. I performed extensive troubleshooting, proving that the machine and pump run completely flawlessly and effortlessly when the descaling dummy is inserted in slot 3. This is undeniable technical proof that the machine is working and the blockage is inside the new filter itself. Despite sending perfect close-up photo documentation proving the valves and ports are clean and unobstructed, AquaTru Europe refuses to replace the defective 5-day-old filter under warranty. Instead, they try to blame "limescale" and suggest ridiculous, impossible cleaning procedures to avoid their legal warranty obligations. Terrible customer service. I will never buy from this company again and will be taking this to the European Consumer Centre (ECC).

The tank that holds the water to be purified doesn't purify all of the water that you use to fill the carafe. So you end up throwing out or attempting to recycle the unused portion. For $400. No way. This is bad for the environment. I sent it back and am now looking for a more efficient and environmentally conscious product. The purified water itself was fine but the environmental impact and waste made this a poor choice for me and my family. Say NO!!
