AquaTruReviews of aquatru.com

delivery times are absolutely out of this world! if you are willing to wait till the plastik is grown at the trees then you can buy ... haahhaha terrible!

Good water, crap company. Chose them, in part, because filters were easy and inexpensive on Amazon Canada. I didn’t want to be ordering stuff from the US, paying shipping and fees. Then the company stops selling the filters on Amazon and when they finally come back, they are WAY more expensive. So I go to order from the company and if I want all 3 filters, my only option is to buy a 2-year, $250 bundle. Sales rep tells me that they’ll ship in 2 days. A week later, company still hasn’t shipped, no answer at the # the company’s website says can be called “anytime” and when I finally reach someone, I get “sorry for the miscommunication, your order is cancelled”. No interest in making it right. No effort to retain me as a customer. Clarified my priorities, don’t do business with people who don’t earn it. Aquatru doesn’t earn anything.

So the customer support is not good at all considering the cost of the item. This is light years away from my juicer purchase from NAMA. I tried to have them wave the S&H for this item. They said they could do a "onetime" courtesy for this and provided me the link. I went through this 4 times because theink didnt work On the 4th try, the link did work, however it made the purchase go up in price, I KID YOU NOT! When I spoke to support again, they told me I could call in and they would adjust the cost difference with a refund. I had mentioned to them that I am using cashapp and will that be a problem? Their response was "it shouldn't be". Thats when red flags went up as there is so much terrible customer service out there that I can see it coming sometimes. So I challenged that statement and they came back with "we refund through PayPal without issues". Which made me challenge her agsin by telling them "I am not using PayPal, im using cashapp". Then I got the response "sorry, we do not have that option for cashapp" Thats when I was like HELLLLLL NOOOO.The customer service is just going to be terrible. Im at the tip of the iceberg with just purchasing it.

Poor. Very noisy item. You won’t know until you open and then aquatru won’t take it back and refund despite it not being fit for regular use. Not worth the money.

The unit grows mold quickly and since it's internal it cannot be properly cleaned, so the water is contaminated. I started having health issues associated with my mold allergy. It took me months to figure out it was this water filter! The warranty gives you nothing in return. Do not purchase.

terrible customer service

I can’t believe they have a 4+ rating on Google. Trust pilot is much more accurate. It’s a defective design. I got one for Christmas based on the Google reviews and severely disappointed. The system fills from the bottom and if it’s even slightly tapped it will leak everywhere. Whoever designed the system should be fired. Do not buy you’ll end up with a puddle everywhere.

I started using the classic system 9-20-2024. The change filter l-2 light came on March 20,2025 (6Months which was correct) and I changed the filter and pressed the reset filter button. March 30,2025 the change filter 4 light came on. One filter gives 64 oz water and I filter 3 times a day. It would take 13.33 months to reach 600 gallons. They sent me a filter 4 replacement. Sept l7, 2025 the change filter 1-2 and 4 came on again. Sept l7, I changed filter 1-2 and 4 and pressed the reset filter button. December 7, 2025 the change 3 and 4 filter light came on. I contacted customer service by email. Provided all the information. The response was the machine is working within the parameters and I was sent the same instructions on how to operate the machine and about the filters. The machine had not reached the gallons or time period so it is clear the machine is not operating as it is suppose to. I am not convinced I am drinking safe water. If you want peace of mind about the product and drinking safe water, I cannot recommend this company or product.
