Still haven’t REFUNDED $$ for returned item
I bought some boots - they were lovely, but didn’t fit. I sent them back AT MY OWN EXPENSE, and have never received an acknowledgement OR my money. WHERE IS MY REFUND????
Beautiful dresses, nightgowns, skirts, blouses, table cloths, napkins, runners and bedding in unique designs. Inspired by nature and culture.

I was impressed, at first, by April Cornell because they used a lot of cotton in their clothing and their designs had a vintage flair to them that I like. However, as time has gone by, I have noticed a lot of flaws in their manufacturing. Flaws like buttons being sewn into the material to the side of the panel, puckering and stretched out cotton from not being ironed properly before manufacturing (which don't come out when ironed), hems being uneven and seams coming undone. I've also noticed recently that they are using more rayon rather than cotton, which bothers me because rayon isn't a natural fiber. For the extremely high price of their clothing, you'd think the quality would be better and that makes me not want to purchase from them anymore.

Received dress, looked great, wore once, washed according to care label. Went to wear it again and noticed multiple seams were ripped! Extremely poor quality dress for a high price. Contacted customer service, was told it was “outside the window” to look into quality issues. Offered me a 20% discount on next purchase-laughable. There definitely won’t be a next purchase!

I ordered one dress from April Cornell and it's not true to size. I ordered another dress from a different company that she makes for and it's true to size. You would think they both would be. I will not be purchasing from them again.

I returned an item for a refund . Tracking shows that they received the item on Aug.17. According to the company refunds are issued within 5 to 10 business days. It is now Sept. 21, more than a month later, still no sign of my refund. I have contacted them 4 times and they keep putting me off with apologies and the assurance that my refund will be processed shortly. Calling customer service is a joke. There is no option to hold for an agent, you are just told to leave a message and your call will be returned, which mine never was. I have been an April Cornell customer for many years, but this will be the last time I make a purchase from this company. I'm wondering if customers finally just give up on getting customer service from this company any more.

They cheated me out of more than 80.00. I bought the same dress twice. Forgot I had ordered the first one. Both came and I sent the first one back. Got my money back, then sent the other one. They said I had already returned it. I could not provide the ups number so they would not give me back my money. I feel that they had to know I returned two dresses. They would not have come back on the same day. They were terrible material anyway. I will never buy from this company again!

I have been a customer of April Cornell for decades and have always been happy with the quality of their tableware…until now. I ordered 2 tablecloths recently. They arrived today and I was frankly shocked with the very real change. The two tablecloths were both described as “100%cotton” but this is not like any cotton I have ever seen! I can literally see through the fabric…it is rough and feels very much like polyester….such poor quality that I will return them, and sadly, this will be my very last purchase from April Cornell. A once-great company now just a cheap imitation of its former self.

On May 4th I ordered four blouses from the clothing store called April Cornell ($394.00) and when given a choice to make about shipping method, the kind and the speed, I chose to pay for UPS delivery to my home, for which the charge was an extra twenty-six dollars and thirty-five cents, bringing the total amount charged on my Visa card on May 4th to $420.35. I provided the specifics of my physical home address for the UPS delivery, and UPS deliveries are made here all the time. Because April Cornell requires it, I also filled in an extra section wanting the specifics of my billing address, which is different from my home. My billing address is a post office box in a different city. For whatever reason I am unable to understand, April Cornell decided to take the money I was charged for UPS service delivery, yet send my package via postal mail. This means that the address label they created for my expensive order was incorrect and undeliverable. This is their error. I live in a small town where the mail is not delivered to our homes. My mailing/billing address is entirely different, a post office box in another nearby city. When the post office received a box that they could not deliver, they returned it to the sender. I never got my blouses; they were returned to the company, April Cornell. So much for paying for UPS delivery! I called April Cornell early this morning and waited on hold for a long time hoping to speak to a service rep and finally left a voice mail asking for their help. I explained the problem and asked if they would please fix the error and I also asked that they please return my call. I spoke my phone number into the message. From my point of view, it was a $420.35 order bouncing around in some sort of limbo. No one called. This company did not help me in any way. I sent April Cornell an email repeating all this, including my order number and the fact that no one did me the courtesy of helping me get what I paid for -- 4 blouses and swift UPS delivery service. This incorrect address label was their mistake, not mine, and it seems to be a bad business practice to advertise and charge for an expensive UPS delivery fee but override my choice and send via postal mail. In their complete silence, there is no way for me to know if they are understaffed, poorly trained, disreputable or simply feckless about shipping costs, but I do know that they undermine their own credibility by complete absence of customer service and by sending my order to the wrong address. I have no other choice but to request prompt refund. I can't recommend this company to anyone.
