Respond with better customer service when orders are placed and DON'T wait until it's convenient for the company to contact the customer

Order was received very quickly however there was no packing material around the product which resulted in it being damaged. I was able to still use it but recommend at least a little bit of wrapping before dropping a product into an empty box.

I ordered a replacement ice maker for my fridge on 11/29/22. It was delivered on 12/5/2022. After placing my order I received no confirmation whatsoever that the order was placed. After a day or so I got concerned that I had been directed to a fraudulent site so I reached out via the contact e-mail. I was assured the order was in process and was told I would receive an e-mail with tracking info once shipped. That e-mail never came. After two more days I reached out again and was told the item had been shipped and was provided tracking info at that time. Three days later I received my purchase. The one and only e-mail I've received from applianceparts365, other than ones I initiated, is this one requesting a review. I will say that both times I reached out, Alexis responded to me within 10 minutes, so kudos to her. Maybe someone should take a look at the order system because something seems to be broken. I feel this day in time, order confirmations and shipping confirmations should be automatic and instantaneous. Other than that, Good Job. Ice maker's working great!

The site wasn't user friendly and its crap I have to pay my own shipping for wrong part. I won't use you guys again.

The ordering process was simple and great but the updates on status of order were non-existent. Usually when purchasing online I can track my order. I didn't see any option to do that and when I tried to call (which I did several times) I never was able to get through.

I based my order on the refrigerator model I have but it's not the right part. I need to return.
