I appreciated the intent behind these sessions and the focus on valuable subjects, but I feel compelled to point out something that others may not have noticed or may be hesitant to share: there was an overwhelming lack of actionable takeaways. This is a huge deal, especially for the money it costs us to pull this off and take time away from work and family. While introducing us to these concepts is a start, it’s simply not enough. We don’t just need an introduction to new ideas; we need a clear roadmap on how to integrate these concepts into our companies, operate these new systems, and engage and train our teams effectively. Without these crucial steps, the content feels incomplete and nearly impossible to implement, and is something I would never leave out in my own talks, trainings, etc. no matter who is my audience. If you’re aiming to bring real change, you need to provide us with actionable steps. An introduction to a "great new thing" is enticing, but without guidance on how to incorporate it into daily practice, it will stay just that—a great idea on paper. The more specific, actionable items you give us, the more likely we are to sign on, adopt, and fully embrace these changes in our organizations. In the end, if I leave without knowing how to take these next steps, the content won’t make it into my workflow. I encourage the team behind this to consider the importance of providing concrete actions. It’s the difference between inspiring us and equipping us to actually implement change.

The AppFolio conference in San Diego this year was outstanding! It was my first time attending, and I’m already looking forward to returning. I found the sessions incredibly valuable, with plenty of useful insights. The live AppFolio demonstrations were a highlight, providing a hands-on look at new products and features. One suggestion for the future would be to video record the sessions and make the presentations downloadable – that would make it even easier to review and share the material.

I learned so much! I am so grateful that I was able to attend Future 2024! Each person that we listened to and spoke with was so knowledgeable. The only complaint I have is the Zillow class. It lasted for 10 minutes and there was no time for questions. This was a class my team was really looking forward to. Daniel Pink's speech was remarkable. By far my favorite time of the Future 2024! Boyz II Men was the icing on the cake. Thank you all for such a great experience and I look forward to next year!

The lack of attention for the Commercial clients is one star deducted. A great deal of what Appfolio currently does is amazing and works across all industries. However, there are things specific to certain industries, Commercial in my case, that could use some attention. The second star was deducted because the sessions were not recorded. Some sessions were amazing! But my notes don't do it justice. Plus, it's a distraction snapping photos. I'd rather focus on the session knowing I can replay the recording later.

The conference was so well organized and very informative. My only complaint was that the conference rooms were really cold! Other than that everything was fantastic.
