Paid $60 to apply for an apartment and as soon as we paid the listing was gone. They claim you can use the application on up to 10 listings but only about one out of 20 listings have that option available. Blatantly misleading. Contacted customer service and they did not give a single crap. Wow thanks for stealing my money.

Don't come here unless. 1. You have something against A/C and love to suction cup to your seat from all the sweat. 2. If you like being told things that never happen, aka (work orders). Almost like that Christmas gift you wanted as a kid and never got. 3. If you like to park so far away from your apartment that you have to call an Uber just to get home. Kind of like when you go to the bar and have to leave your car because you're so out of it. 4. Maybe you're one of those people that just like to fight the world on a daily basis. Well, here is your chance to be home and meet with the same energy. 5. If you like living where you can smell the fresh garbage in the morning, it's overflowing with greatness. 6. Loud music, people that don't know how to talk normal and have to hear themselves yelling, and animal feces everywhere you walk. My story: Since I have moved in, I have had no AC. After complaining so much, they got tired of it. Maintenance came with a window unit small enough to fit in my car's glove box. I won't speak on it ALMOST blowing out cold air, but it has a little more ambient temperature than the atmosphere, so I guess that's a plus. I was told I would get a garage but still have yet to receive one. Then overcharged on rent, like a lot. I can't get management to commit to a time to do anything, but when they want access to my unit when I am in a meeting since I work from home, I ask them what happened to when it was scheduled (2 days ago) and tell them I am in a meeting and they can come back. I get fined $100 plus then told that it will be a violation on my lease. What happened to accountability when someone is representing a company and says something and never delivers (like my garage i still dont have 4months later)? Then wants you to do as they say when they say it. Like, WTF have you done for me in the last several months? Now I dont even get a call back from there corporate office because they to say whatever they have to to not do anything. This company owns: 1. The falls at west over hills, 2. Cascadia luxury apartment homes. 3. Hill Country Villas

Stay Far Away.As a landlord, I have wasted far too much time and money on Apartments.com's laughably backwards and outdated rental advertising platform. Quite frankly, their service is an absolute joke.This system is stuck in the Stone Age. Instead of allowing modern, instant communication like every competent platform in 2026, they force landlords to send pathetic “remail” inquiries that take days to get any response — if you even get one at all. On top of that, their confusing, convoluted, and deliberately opaque pricing models seem designed specifically to mislead and frustrate everyone involved. It’s pure amateur hour.Meanwhile, Zillow actually operates like a professional company in the 21st century. Their platform is fast, clean, efficient, and transparent. Renters can reach landlords quickly, pricing is clear upfront, and qualified tenants don’t vanish into thin air because the system is too slow and stupid to keep up.Because Apartments.com is truly terrible, I would rather let my apartments sit completely vacant — losing thousands of dollars in rent every single month — than continue doing business with such a backwards, incompetent, and outdated company. That fact alone should tell you exactly how bad their service has become.Their team should be deeply embarrassed. While the rest of the industry has moved forward, Apartments.com is still dragging landlords through an inefficient, user-hostile nightmare. It’s obvious they have no clue how the modern rental market actually works.Fix your broken inquiry system immediately. Apartments.com is a waste of time and money in my experience. They over promised and under delivered. Very few responses and even those few responses were a waste of time. Save your money and use their competitor for far better results.

Fake listings! They have too-good-to-be-true listings (beautiful apartments half the price of similar listings), with anonymous vmails. No one ever returns your call or message. So what are they doing with our information when we inquire on these false listings? Selling it probably.

I found an apartment on this site. The house shown us a different address as the apartment for rent. The address before and after has a house but no house for averted apt . I have sent numerous messages without any response after I visited properties.
