They have one of my tenants locked out of her account because she changed her phone number. You can't get anyone on the phone from customer service and the support email doesn't get a response.. They also didn't charge one of my other tenants rent in August, again, no support to resolve it. I've been on hold for over 30 minutes and don't really expect anyone to pick up at this point

I listed my rental property and paid $100 for advertising . I did not get any leads for $100 charged for placing my property at the top of my search. within two days I called customer service to stop the ads and refund the ad charge. Support followed up with an email requesting for more details which I provided immediately. Its about a month now but still no response or resolution. I expected them to at least let me know its not possible to refund instead of not responding at all Lesson learnt, don't pay for the listing on Apartments.com. I was able to get bunch of leads for no charge on Zillow and other sites.

Caught them trying to steal money. I bet they get away with it often. You apply for an apartment, are directed to them to submit the application, the fee is explained by the agent as just like any other fee, then you notice that it is recurring when it is too late. I'm sure they have some tiny print somewhere covering them, but the process is unethical. Luckily, I saw the word 'recurring' when reviewing my debits and was able to cancel in time. That was pure luck.

Got stuck with them after they bought cozy.co. Why cozy.co didn't buy them instead is baffling. The difference in service is huge. Cozy was excellent, apartments website is abysmal.

I checked the awful apartment complex I live at to see its review - 5 stars. But the tenant reviews are all 1 and 2 stars. Not just a few - nearly 100. The only 5 stars are fake - "Our townhouse style garden apartment is surrounded by grass & trees but just steps from every urban convenience." The website claims the score is a "blended review" of multiple factors. I'm not sure what the factors are, but they are also giving fake numbers on rent. It looks like my rent money is paying for maintaining my apartment's score on apartments.com, not my actual apartment.

All these real estate companies do not take down the rented or sold properties. They want people to leave their information on desirable apartments and properties so they can send you information on undesirable apartments and properties. Stay away from this company. You've been warned.

The ratings on the units are bogus based on where I currently live. Currently trying to find an apartment elsewhere. It states on their site places are available when I need to move in yet so far none of them have been. The property claims to have updated it on their end and there is nothing for me to be able to report an error. Just seems useless if the ratings are not based on real experiences nor the availability is accurate.
