I'm extremely frustrated with AOTax (Advantage One Income Tax Consulting) this year. It has been over a month since I completed payment and finalized everything on my end, yet my taxes still haven't been filed. Communication has been very poor, even after multiple follow-ups and escalations, I only receive vague responses. The last update I got was 5 days ago saying they would get back to me within 24-48 hours, and since then, nothing. What's even more frustrating is the drastic change in communication. Before I made the payment, I was getting multiple calls and emails. Once the payment was completed, the responsiveness dropped off completely. I've been a loyal customer for over 12 years, but honestly, the service quality has been declining steadily over the past 6-7 years. This year has been the worst experience by far, and it will be my last time using them. Every year there are multiple errors in the filings, and I've had to spend hours reviewing and correcting their work. It defeats the entire purpose of hiring a tax professional. The preparers often seem under-informed, and I've found myself double-checking everything anyway. Every year they make mistakes and most of them will be basic mistakes like interchanging Proceeds and cost basis, miss certain documents, etc. The only reason I stayed this long was to maintain continuity in case of audits, but at this point, it's not worth the time, stress, or money. There are far better and more reliable options available today, even among basic or automated tools. Finally I am going to file a BBB complaint. I would not recommend AOTax based on my experiences.

Customer service is awesome with great pricing for filing your taxes, I recommend AOTAX. Prashanth who assisted me had a good handle on making the process very smooth for me, thank you!
