***WARNING DONT BUY THIS JUNK*** Customer service is very ignorant and impatient. Wonder why? Because they are overwhelmed with calls about there junk products. Cant speak to a manager or boss monthly leave the customer service with the headaches. Cant buy parts online they arr back order because the demand to fix the POS I bought. Ive had a 40 gallon water heater broke and leaked all over my finished basement. Tankless water heater leaks and elements blown. Not one good remark anout them online. These people need shut down. I pay for next day air.It's not here.The lady told me the gentleman did me a solid because he gave me the heating element.Why don't you do me a solid and pay the bill for damages , when your water heater leaked all over my floor and flooded my basement. How many reports do you need to turn this place into a hotdog stand?? Then again they couldn't even get that right.

Absolute junk!!! $1300 for a new power vent hot water tank, and after a power outage, it shuts down and loses its mind... won't restart, no indication how to fix, just ABSOLUTE JUNK. Such a shame where we are now in comparison to appliances 20 or 30 years ago. Shame on you, AO Smith, absolute JUNK.

Zero support for a tamkless water heater that failed within 9 months. Ran the plumbers around and were shockingly unprofessional during a troubleshooting session with the plumber. The equipment is total garbage and the support worse. Never again.

Had rust problem in the water tank heater after only 3 years of use. Even if they agreed to replace the tank, all the costs of removing, disposing the defective unit and installing a new one according to them is my responsibility. I would recommend future customers to look for other brands that either have better quality or take accountability in their warranty to cover re-installation costs in the defect comes from their equipment.

If you buy AO smith water purifier, you will experience worst service from AO smith. Never buy their product. I am using water purifier for 10 months. Each time you need a service from them, you will become mad. after raising service, nobody will reach you. If you call customer care, they will give you number to call their representative, they don't arrange service internally by themselves. Even you call their representatives, they won't come, every time they will give different different excuses, sometimes they won't pick your call. At least 5-6 days continuous follow up you need to get small service from them. Right now, I am still waiting to get service for the current request. Pathetic. Never buy their product. I did mistake, you don't fall in the trap.

Needed o ring for my whole house water filter,was informed no parts are avaliable for this filter,filter has only been in service for 5 years, also just installed two of these filters in both of my son's houses,had l known this l absolutely would have looked at a different brand,get what you pay for l guess

Stay away—warranty is a complete scam! If your AO Smith water heater breaks, do not expect them to help you. Mine failed, and instead of honoring the warranty and helping a customer out of a bind, they demanded that I leave my family without hot water while they dragged their feet "troubleshooting." In the real world, hot water matters and time matters. I had to replace the unit out of my own pocket just to get my house functioning again. Their customer service is terrible, and their warranty isn't worth the paper it’s printed on. Save your money and buy from a brand that actually supports its customers during an emergency.

Not happy with these guys. The AOSmith water heater already in my house stopped working. They have a tool on their website that tells you which model to replace it with but my model was discontinued so I wrote them to ask which model to buy. Only they just don't want to answer me when i write. Replys come two weeks later and they told me to ask a plumber . You would think that knowing folks don't have hot water they would answer a little sooner or at least give a little extra attention to the cluless single women customers. How dare they take two weeks after I sent them pictures of my set up only to rudely tell me to ask a plumber which of their brands to buy. If I need to ask a plumber I will make sure he steers clear of AOSMITH. PS, after seeing their profile on Trustpilot, I know not to take their treatment of me personally. it is clear that AOSMITH does not care about Anyone or any of their customers. They are not nice people. They hate everyone. They do not deserve to sell their products at Lowes and I will make sure everyone knows. Gosh, if they give resistance to somebody just trying to purchase a water heater from them, I'd be very worried about other concerns..... it is my deepest wish that lowes cuts ties with them and the whole lot of them can get sent home permanently. They don't deserve to have a business.
