An atrocious company to deal with. I’m yet to receive an acknowledgment of emails, including a recent one where I advised them that I am no longer responsible for the service charge. I have no idea if the company will add further charges on the invoice, or take me to court. ANTHEM, REPLY TO MY EMAIL AS I HAVE REQUESTED!

Why is customer service the worst experience of my life? It's like pulling teeth. Nobody wants to help, and everyone is extremely passive. Why can't I just send an email? Why do I have to waste 20 minutes suffering, only to get no answers?

It's been 5 months sending the claim for 5 times with no luck to be process, personnel is nasty and do not give you any information, they have no idea why they didn't receive the claim, by the way claim address is correct, they just disregarded it.

I haven't been for a dental exam in 5 years, but I'm supposed to be covered for a preventative exam every year, so finally I went in good faith. I wasn't covered. The dentist took 4 bite wing x-rays which is standard, I checked. They only paid for 2. That would mean only 1 side of my mouth is "covered by insurance" ... how bizarre. I spent countless hours on the phone now, and I'm tired of fighting. Their customer service is non existant and just a run around. No one has answers. No one is willing to listen or help. I will continue to avoid dental care now because of the hidden costs, because being covered, means not actually being covered. I don't know what the point of dental insurance is. And Anthem's service today was terrible. It's just garble and gibberish to confuse you. They won't pay ... at least know this ... then you won't be disappointed. They claim to cover preventative care, but you're not!

This is the worst service and health plan I've ever had. I have been paying for it for over one year and have yet to see a PCP. The website will just assign you doctors that are not PCPs and will not take appointments to see you. Currently on my 3rd phone call trying to see a PCP with my coverage. I found my own doctor, confirmed in network, and now they are saying they can't update in the system over and over. I've paid out of pocket to see a doctor because I need to. They hope you die waiting for them to help you. Worst ever.

This the worst insurance that I've ever had. I have had so many problems with them over the last year and a half. They have dictated what care I should receive and gone against my doctor's recommendations. The appeals process is a joke and you can never get a decision overturned. This company used to be a well respected insurer but has become one the worst.

I get them through Covered California because they were the only option that covers my physician. Everything is a battle with them. I pay $800/month for coverage yet most everything I need is rejected. Their support is useless. If you ask a specific question, they can never answer. They will just send you a pdf or link to the coverage leaving it to the customer to magically interpret diagnostic codes. Why is this a thing when you are going for a simple in-network doctor appointment? I have wasted so much time back and forth with their "support" (a joke to even call them this because they are anything but supportive. They are like a bad AI bot). They recently just rejected a claim from an in network opthalmologist. No reason. As much as I love my GP, I am ditching Anthem Blue next open enrollment.

Its treble, the system is not working, the support is even more treble…
