The AMTA is a great professional…
The AMTA is a great professional organization! Between the networking, the CEUs, the liability insurance, and the discounts at many other businesses, you can't go wrong with the AMTA!

The American Massage Therapy Association is the largest non-profit, professional association serving massage therapists, massage students and massage schools. We are guided by a volunteer national Board of Directors who sets the course for the association. As a member-driven organization, we are constantly in conversation with our members through surveys, phone calls, emails and social media to understand the diverse needs of all of our members and their hopes for the profession. We advocate for the issues important to massage therapists across the country at the federal, state and local levels of government. We promote the health benefits of massage to the public, the health care community and other important groups. AMTA provides its members with the strongest benefits in the massage therapy profession and has been serving our community for over 75 years.

I have been with Amta since 2009! Anything I need I can easily find on the website. One phone call is all it takes to get the answers about your states regulations and what to do. Love my Amta !!

The mission of the American Massage Therapy Association is to serve its members while advancing the art, science, and practice of massage therapy for the entire profession. To me they are so much more than a nonprofit organization, they are my extended family. The AMTA is a community of passionate staff and volunteers that serve with compassion, integrity, respect, and gratitude. I'm honored to be a member, and to serve as a volunteer.

AMTA is non profit but works harder than a for profit company to offer the very best quality everything! I just finished a conference that featured brilliant speakers who were top in their fields. The best of the best. The speakers referred casually to people I studied about while in school-they were peers and colleagues of The Who’s who of our field. My money is best spent here.

I have been a member since 1999 and in my opinion, there is no better professional organization that represents the massage and bodywork profession than AMTA. Thank you for the passion and commitment.

I have been a member for the past 21 years and love it. I have grown so much by being a member. The various opportunities to network and education are amazing. I have learned skills while volunteering with the association that I have been able to translate to other parts of my life.

AMTA is MY FAMILY of CHOICE I first became an AMTA (family) member at school. Did not get involved for about a year. Went to 1 meeting in my area and only looked at the mailing (snail mail then) until l was approached to become a volunteer. I have been an active volunteer since. Seeing many changes over the years and always improving itself. Helping states with issues, public awareness, etc.
