Works well but slips down
I would give this knee brace four and a half stars if I could. My knee starting hurting me this past spring from walking my German shepherd puppy because she kept pulling me. My kneecap would smart several times while walking her. My other knee was hurting from the inside and my kneecap aches as well from being in my feet all the time. Then I got a house with stairs with my bedroom on the 2nd floor which has made things worse. I am also a nurse and work 12 hour nights. It doesn’t hurt constantly, but takes my breath away every time it smarts. I haven’t been able to walk down the stairs without having sharp stabbing pains in my knee. My BMI is 23 and I was really worried that it would be too loose. It fits much tighter than I thought it would and feels really good when i wear it. My knee pain has pretty much stopped in the one week that I have had it. My only complaint is that I wish they had more sizes than just male and female. I wear small and extra small everything. The sleeve fits pretty snuggly and does help, but I do have to keep pulling it up when I walk a lot and the more I wear it, the more I have to keep pulling it up. I had bought a small/medium sleeve from a store and it didn’t even fit snug against my knee much less give me support. These are 10x better. I just wish they were a little smaller. They do fit well under my jeans and scrubs, though.
