Don't sign a contract with this company. You're locked in for 5 years that will automatically renew if you don't cancel in writing 30 days before the term ends. No way to change your service st all. I don't even use most of it, and I'm paying $75 a month. I tried to downgrade to what we use and was told not possible. This has been a nightmare and now I have to continue to pay $75 a month for another year for a service I don't use. Avoid!

My experience started with a sales representative who purported to be affiliated with ADT. Despite initially setting up my alarm system under the impression that it was with ADT, upon closer examination of the documentation provided, I discovered that the services were actually associated with AMP Smart. This discrepancy was unsettling, as it led to a lack of confidence in the integrity of the services provided. Furthermore, the level of service rendered by AMP Smart fell significantly below the standard I would expect from a reputable company. I encountered persistent issues with the system, and despite reaching out to their help desk for assistance, I found the support to be inadequate. Regrettably, I often had to resort to troubleshooting and resolving issues independently, which was both frustrating and time-consuming. Adding to my dissatisfaction, I was surprised to discover that AMP Smart had increased their rates without providing prior notice. This lack of transparency regarding pricing changes only exacerbated my concerns about the company's professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. In light of these experiences, I felt compelled to express my disappointment and share in hopes that others could avoid using such a terrible system/agency.

YOURE SIGNING A 5 YEAR CONTRACT AKA 60 MONTHS DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM I WAS DONE WITH ANOTHER COMPANYS CONTRACT PAYING 45$ A MONTH THEY SOLD ME WITH DOORBELL CAMERA THAT THE INSTALL WAS UGLY DRILLED THROUGH MY BRICK HOUSE WITHOUT SAYING SO WHY WOULD I SIGN ANOTHER CONTRACT FOR 5 YEARS AND HIGHER A MONTH OVER $70 WHEN THEY ARE USING THE REST OF THE EQUIPMENT THAT IS 4 YEARS OLD. SLICK TALKING SALESMEN THAT WILL SKIP OVER EVERYTHING DOCUSIGN YOUR CONTRACT AND FAST TALK YOU THROUGH EVERYTHING. TERRIBLE COMPANY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND

I only gave them one star because that’s the only way you can write a review. I would not recommend this company to anybody. Their security systems are great however I had a stroke in November I contacted them they said to call them back so I called them back in March, they said I needed to have a doctors note or something showing I was unable to pay my bill so my doctor wrote a letter stating because of medical reasons I wasn’t able to work therefore unable to pay my bill. After emailing them the letter they stated they could not cancel my services. They could only freeze them for six months after six months I would have to continue my monthly payments , I don’t know about anybody else but when someone can have a stroke can no longer walk can no longer work and they will not cancel services that’s wrong.

Terrible company to have your security with. Six year contract, regardless that our door bell camera and overhead garage camera never worked properly even after service calls. We were told by the technicians that because of the heat in Texas, it interferes with the signal. Camera was always in a shaded area… complete nonsense. More than 50% of the time, it couldn’t pick up what was happening right on the porch. Nor could it maintain a constant connection at night. Not good when I caught a stalker trying to look through my daughter’s window. Their early termination fee, pay the entirety of the contract, even if you want to send the equipment back. With Ring, I haven’t missed a single thing happening around my house. Save yourself from YEARS of grief, go with any other company than AMP Smart.

Terrible company to do business with. Will not work with you at all. A lot of fine print that is easy to miss. There are many more services less costly. Even though your contract is set to expire they still require a written letter or they will automatically renew. Run, DON’T WALK from this company. You have been forewarned. Two relatives learned the hardway

On behalf of a senior citizen account holder I’m writing this letter. The account holder has written to you about terminator his contract after 6 yrs and you have informed him he has to stay another r years because he got an outdoor camera…. How dare you try to swindle this senior citizen out of his money… you called his house and told him you want him to pay….AMPSMART YOU ARE HORRIBLE….I have spoken to a lawyer regarding how you are trying to steal my money….

this company is no good the camers quite working they stop recording the door lock system is crappy then they want you to pay to go out and fix the issues its not worth going threw this company
