I have rented from Amigo several times and have always been pleased with rates and service. This time, however, the charging cord I was sent did not match the phone. If it were not for another person in my group who had the same phone, and only had the phone because I had recommended Amigo to them, I would have been unable to recharge my phone when I was travelling. I pointed this out to Amigo when I sent back the phone. I never heard back from them.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE'VE RENTED FROM AMIGO. THESE ARE WONDERFUL AND RELIABLE PEOPLE. THEY ARE PATIENT IN EXPLAINING THE PROGRAM AND HELP YOU TO DECIDE WHICH WILL BE THE BEST FOR YOUR NEEDS. IF YOU NEED HELP WITH PUTTING CONTACTS IN, ETC., THEY ARE VERY PATIENT AND WALK YOU THROUGH UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IS OK AND YOU ARE COMFORTABLE. THE PHONE ITSELF IS GREAT. I COULD HEAR MY HUSBAND ALL OVER ISRAEL AND EVEN WHEN HE WAS ON THE TRAIN AS IF HE WERE WITH ME IN THE ROOM. DON'T HESITATE…..THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!

Having never rented a phone before for our Israel trips, I was somewhat concerned about renting it for our recent trip. But, it was one of my better decisions. It was so convenient to have access to a phone and when my husband accidently took the suitcase of a fellow traveler by mistake on one of our outings, the phone was a lifesaver as it allowed me to correct the mistake while sitting on a bus. Having had success with an Amigo phone, I see no reason to switch to another company if I am again in need of a rental phone.

They answered every question quickly, with good knowledge of the various locations. Helpful service. I had a couple special situations come up and they handled them gracefully.

The instructions were not so easy and the phone did not work when I got to the UK. I had to go to 2 phone stores in the airport to get the phone working and get the flow of emails started. They said I needed local 02 codes. They were able to add them in but this should have been explained to me before I went. I never saw the words 3G or Edge in the top right of the phone that the instructions said there would be. Texting was fantastic but receiving email was slow and arduous. It took a long time for the text of the emails to come through.

I have been to Israel many time and always rent Amigo phone from Cohen Judaica in Boca Raton. The service if always good and the explanation of coverage is always true, not like other companies. The service in Israel has always been good and the phone have always worked fine.

very disappointed. I followed the directions and the phone would not connect. I kept getting the message the number you have dialed is unavailable. So the rental was complete waste of money.

Hi, I am sorry that you had issues with your rental phone. I am looking at your account. Did you try and contact our tech support while you were abroad? Or can you tell me how you were dialing these numbers? There are times where a simple reset or some guidance in the international dialing codes could solve any issue you are describing. However we would need to have been made aware of it for the opportunity to solve it.
