A company incapable to communicate. A simple question about when the system will be delivered can not be answered. Not even an apology or explanation for a delay, nothing. Request full refund of the order, still of course no answer.

I was present during a conversation with a salesperson. The intended purpose of the lift was clearly stated. Now after paying for and receiving the lift I am informed this lift or any other they sell could be used for the intended purpose. This was clearly a deceptive business. I spent over $5000 with shipping for 900 lbs of what is now scrap metal to me as they refuse to allow me to return it.

I phoned to speak with a vertical lift specialist. Explained where and how we expecting to use the equipment. I purchased the unit while on the phone with him. The $3,995, 900 lb-unit arrived, was unpacked, brought in the house, but when the installer arrived he told me it couldn't be installed as it was meant to be on concrete. Ameriglide has a recording of the conversation and told me it was 14 minutes long. My phone records show it was 19 minutes long. I have now been told by an Ameriglide technician that none of the lifts can be installed on hardwood yet the website says it can be installed on a porches and decks. I don't understand why I was sold a unit that I cannot use and my calls are now going unanswered.

The stairlift itself is wonderful. We at our veterans post needed a new stairlift and the price was affordable. But now that we need to service it, Ameriglide won’t help because “we’re too far outside the service area”. Just beware.

This company should be investigated. Worse business transaction I have made in my 56 years on this earth. They will not refund your money, even after they have been given all research by the bank that you never received it. Oh yeah, then they block your calls in the accountants department (Danielle) like I am just gonna go away. So now I am filling out a form for small claims court because guess what Ameriglide, I am not just going to give you 1439.00 of my hard earned money for nothing, and I promise I will persue this until I am dead and gone. You know what they call someone who takes from someone else ? A THIEF ! Do not do business with this company. Unless you just have extra money you want to give away.

Horrible! Terrible! Horrible! Terrible! Did I mention, horrible? We ordered a Rave 2 for our church. Really loved the pricing and our sales rep was amazing, initially. We received our stair lift about a week after purchasing, which we were very pleased about. Upon installing the unit, we came across a defective part. We called the company and were told a new part would be shipped out and we would have it within one week. That was 8 weeks ago! Since then, I have called the company approximately 15 times, each time being bounced from one person to another, and told that someone would be in touch. Here I am today, still trying to get a hold of someone to find out where our missing part is, to no avail. I keep getting bounced around from person to person again. It’s like no one at the company wants to talk to me and no one even cares that we paid for the unit in full and it does not function properly, and has not worked since we got it. We did have three more stair lifts to purchase but we absolutely will not purchase another one from this company. The customer service is very bad and no one can answer any questions about why we haven’t received this part in 8 weeks. At one point, I was given the number to what I guess is their fulfillment company, Harmar, who told me they were never even received a warranty replacement order for us from Ameriglide. This is ridiculous! 8 weeks and no one can give me a straight answer. Pitiful.

We are 4 months in since installation and we still do not have a working unit (wheelchair lift). It took us 3 weeks of calling just to get someone to pick up the phone. We’ve contacted at least 5 different employees throughout this awful experience and weeks go by with no return contact. Once we do finally get a phone call back, we get pushed around with which employee can do what we need. We have a wheelchair lift that is just sitting not working. The Vice President has not even returned our phone call. This is the most unprofessional customer service experience we have ever encountered.

Very poor customer service. I got two lift chairs with the assistance of representative. One chair was perfectly fine, the second missing the function and plus is very small for my dad. Trying to reach the representative who helped me with the order, and tried to call multiple time, hitting the wall.
