AmeriGlide Distributing 2019, IncReviews of ameriglide.com

We purchased a RAVE 2 stairlift from the very professional and informative Mr. Kelly Clevenger and successfully installed it ourselves – including an optional automatic flip-down arm accessory. Some feedback (in no order): 1. RAVE 2 is built like a tank. Heavy-duty. We were impressed by the quality…everything fit well together, and nothing seemed too fragile/breakable. 2. The installation video was a big help. We did not really need to consult the installation manual (though we did use it to confirm a few details). However, 3. While the flip-down arm is very cleverly designed, we’d recommend that Ameriglide make a separate installation video that includes the flip-down arm. Documentation is minimal there. We figured it out ok, but it would have saved time if there was a similar video that included the arm. We also believe those who are not at least somewhat mechanically inclined will get frustrated trying to install a unit with a flip-down arm & should hire an installer instead. 4. As skinny as our particular staircase was, the chair folds up well enough to provide ample room to get past it. More space than I anticipated. 5. IR remotes work well too. So far we’re very pleased with this Ameriglide product. One can see the value built into it. FAR more importantly, tonight my dad is finally sleeping in his own bed again after 2 months. Nicely done!

I would like to thank you folks for the great service provided by Kelly Clevenger when we purchased our chairlift. He walked us through the measuring process and then the shipment tracking and delivery. The installer, Maxx Edogawa, too, was outstanding and did an excellent job, not only with the installation, but by explaining the proper use of the chair. My husband and I are both in our eighties and we are absolutely thrilled with the end results. You can be assured we will recommend Kelly and Maxx to our friends. We would like you to please extend our thanks and appreciation to these two fine employees. We hope you recognize how rare and special they are in these current times. Thank you. Glenna M., Texas

My Name is Brian R Cooley & was in DYER need of a lift chair before 08/18/2021 & KELLY CLEVENGER come through with flying colors. He walked me through everything step by step & was so Patient & Courteous with the measuring process. It was 5 PLUS STAR RATING. Also the installer TOM LOCKWOOD was also 5 STAR. Well be giving KELLY'S CLEVENGER name to all my friends & family

They gave me great information on the phone. Measuring to make the correct order was easy and they helped me do it. The Video was super clear about installation. The installation went very smoothly. The best tip I got was from the guy on the phone who suggested I assemble the two halves of the rail outside, on the flat, vs inside on a slope. The thing worked like a charm.

I have never written a review of any product but felt compelled to do so now. I have a desire to encourage others who have a need for this help to know that AmeriGlide delivers on time and delivers a chairlift that is sturdy and can be self-installed with a reasonable amount of skill and time. I am 73 year old and with the help of a friend installed the unit in an afternoon (4-5 hours). The chair unit is a heavy lift and it's helpful to have an assist to slide it into place. The tracks are also easier with help. They fit perfectly but I would suggest the set screws be removed before sliding them together. Also pay attention to the kill switch instructions. The measurement guide that is provided when you order is very accurate. I also found the YouTube video helpful. My thanks to this American Company for it's attention to detail. It is a bit unnerving to unpack these heavy cumbersome pieces and pray that they will all come together and work properly. Thankfully, they do!

The installer was awesome! He was on-time, efficient and super nice!

This review is specifically for the kind and helpful service I received from Fernando C (sales in the North Carolina office and Edward L (installer in the Boston area). After reading up on the reviews for the Ameriglide service, I was honestly wary about buying from Ameriglide because of some of the previous horror stories I read. However, in every organization, it just takes one person to make a difference and to go the extra mile, to make a great experience for the customer. I am grateful to say that we received this "going the extra mile" service from Fernando and Ed, working together. I was in a tough situation with the new home I was trying to move my dad into. The first floor bathroom was under construction and delayed, and my dad is unable to navigate stairs safely. My last minute solution was a stairlift chair so he could use the 2nd floor bathroom, but it was so last minute that I was unable to get a chair quickly enough for his move date. Fernando not only put me in touch with the local New England installer, Ed, but he also connected with his production colleague in Florida to make sure that the chair I ordered would be shipped in time before my dad's move the next week. No other stairlift company was able to move their production that quickly to meet the urgent timing need. Fernando not only set up the order and made the sale, but he checked in AFTER the sale, sent me tracking, and Ed even checked tracking to make sure he'd know when to install once it arrived. During this incredibly stressful period of time while we were trying to create a safe aging-in-place solution for my father's mobility needs under a tight timeline, I couldn't have been more grateful to Fernando and Ed for making such a meaningful difference. I really felt like they were pulling with me to make sure my dad's move went smoothly. That meant the world to me. To Fernando, Ed, and Florida production team, I want to say an ENORMOUS THANK YOU, sincerely, from my family and me. I hope the rest of the sales agents at Ameriglide take a positive lesson from this: that is, when they help customers with a genuine interest in assuring the well-being of the vulnerable population they serve, the positive feedback comes back to the company and will promote future business.

I certainly enjoyed working with Ameriglide. The online purchase was easy, with clear instructions. Since there was no way online to check the status of the order, I made the phone call twice. Both times the call was answered within 3 rings and had no menu to wade through. The helper was understandable and helpful. The second helper even enlisted her supervisor to go the extra step. Both were professional yet friendly and courteous. What a unique experience in today's online dealings. Within a day I had the tracking info from the distributor that I wanted.
