I found the instructions mostly correct and easy to follow. Called the support number to get clarification on a couple of items. The only problem was the instructions didn’t allow enough room for the back of the chair To clear the wall. When I talked to the support team they admitted that it was a new design and they didn’t realize that it was bigger. I had to move the rail 2 1/2 inches more than instructions called for. I have installed enough stuff over the years to learn that it’s best to assemble everything before drilling any holes so it wasn’t a big deal for me. I did make sure that the support people were aware of the need to adjust the instructions. I am very pleased with the product overall and would recommend to my friends.

I recommend the Rave 2, fairly simple DIY install if your handy. Chair movement is quiet and sturdy.

I have a request instead of a review...at this point. I would like to request that someone from AmeriGlide come and evaluate the chair and how my husband uses it. I believe you, AmeriGlide, can go one step further and provide my husband with some education re: positioning, etc. Please let me know if my request can be honored. Thank you. Susan K. Underwood

It took a bit longer than expected for an item deemed “in stock”, however when it was received they actually had to do some custom work and Dad has rejoined the family in daily activities. Thank you! It fit our stairs PERFECTLY. Raymond Solomon

Mom is going up and down the stairs safely now because of AmeriGlide. Her chair lift was installed by a caring installer who took all of her concerns into account. Our sales representative was kind , helpful and patient. We did have some delivery issues, but they were finally taken care of.

The sales staff was very helpful and when I called, after purchasing the lifts, they were still helpful and courteous...they arrived yesterday, 09/01, and will be installed Saturday, 09/05.

The instruction manual for installation could be better. Better pictures would help. Found an error when to install the upper limit strip. Can't be done until the after the power unit is put in place and moved a short distance down the rail. Other than that, all worked out well.

I love the product and my sales rep. I had rail damaged 2 times. It was damaged during shipment. I was expecting a little more priority on getting the new rail twice but it still took the normal 5-6 days. One day it didn’t get picked up at the dock so one day delay but was never told of this. I’m not a big fan on never getting a tracking number when the product ships, I’m always having to ask for it. At times my rail is filled with aluminum shavings from being cut. Little more quality control I feel is on order. Take pride in the product your selling and shipping. Make the customer feel at that moment that we actually matter even if we only buy 4-6 units a month.
