After ordering two stairlifts on Jan. 26, 2021, we received no information from Ameriglide. We were left in the dark about shipping, delivery and installation dates. We were contacted by an installer and days later all of the boxes arrived in good condition. Installation was done on Feb. 15, 2021. Both lifts are operating OK. An unused wire is hanging out of the bottom of one stairlift and out of the top of the other. One stairlift has a folding arm rail and is fitted with the chassis that is labeled straight rail. The other stairlift chassis is labeled for folding arm rail. Both stairlifts should be about a foot longer at the top to facilitate safe entry and exit away from the stairs. The footrest should swivel with the chair for the same reason. The right-hand lap belt retractor interferes with operation of the swivel release lever.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They don't back their products. If anything goes wrong, you get the runaround. If you are someone looking for a stairlift, look somewhere else.

Salesperson misrepresented my chair. It does nothing he said it would do. I am a cardiac patient and on palliative care. It is vital that my feet be hip level. This chair leaves them pointed down making the swelling so much worse. It has caused an increase in pain. Kelly did not discuss or offer me any other chair. He literally pushed this chair on me I just feel helpless They refuse to take the chair back with a refund I was told to get an attorney I need a chair with the twilight function. DO NOT BUY FROM AMERGLIDE

My Good Friend Was shipped a Defective Power lift chair and they will not let my dying friend send it back . They will only send someone who makes the chair out to try and fix it. 2 weeks later and No time has been set to "FIX'. the Broken chair They said she has to pay at least $400. for shipping if she ships the defective chair back and then there will be a restocking fee. She paid $100.00 to have the chair put together. The chair will Not work. It will never lay flat as she was told it would do. It's as hard as Rocks and is suppose to be a chair for a person up to 6,6. She is only 5 11 and her legs hang off the chair She needs a Lift Power chair that will help pro long her life. and they do NOT Care. I have left 6 messages for the customer service Rep. Laura and she hadn't returned one call. Left 4 messages For TJ Kelly's boss and no call back, Have Filled with BBB, AG in Phoenix and Seattle, I will be filing with the Federal Trade Commission and the FBI internet because the sale was over the internet. Also Filed with AARP Fraud Because they are taking advantage of a disabled, Dying , Older Person. It's Not her fault Ameriglide sent her a defective or broken chair That has been sitting in her living room for over 2 weeks. They have treated my dying friend and myself like dirt...They DO NOT stand behind what they sell you.....**** No YOU DID NOT say you would ship the chair back for free. You said that you would only TRY and Fix the chair. I was told yesterday that my friend would have to come up with at least $400. to send it back and that there would be a restocking fee. AT NO time have we been offered to send it back for Free. If we had this would of been over a very long time ago. We want the defective chair gone and a Full Refund so my friend can buy a Chair that will help Prolong her life. Who Do I call to get it shipped back for free with a full Refund???? Nobody will answer my calls... ***18 DAYS LATER Defective chair is still Broken and part isn't in Yet. Do Not Ever Buy from this place. This was supposed to be a brand NEW chair that she paid almost $1200. for.### UPDATE. After 20days Chair tec. came to fix chair . He COULDN"T fix Chair. Told my friend the Chair would NEVER lay flat or raise her feet and legs up as needed. She was sold a Zero Gravity Chair and this Chair isn't one. This was the ONLY chair that Kelly said would work for her and he lied. Stuck with defective chair after 3 weeks waiting for it to be fixed and it CAN NOT be fixed....50 days and Over 30 calls by me later and chair has been returned for a FULL Refund and NO REFUND.I was told Refund would be on Feb 10 2021. I was Told Yesterday by TJ (boss) He has NO IDEA when a Refund will be given. They are waiting for my friend to Die before they refund her account, so she can buy a working lift chair and they DO NOT CARE!! After 50 days NO refund!!! OMG I'm so Happy to say they Refunded her card .... Never Give up!!!

Placed order with Dalton Waters Dec 7 was told will ship within two days from north carolina kept calling for days on end finally was notified it was shipped dec 18 via fedex with a delivery date of dec 22 to freight forwarder in miami for onward shipment to nassau bahamas was given a tracking number which showed 4pcs called dec 21 was told by mr dalton that 2 pcs was delivered today the other 2 will be delivered tomorrow at no point was i told there would be a split shipment this i founf out at 4.22 when mr dalton sent me an email i informed him this will cause me double as the freight forwarder will now make two shipments as they were not informed MY DALTON BECAME EXTREMELY RUDE AND HUNG UP THE PHONE I CALLED FOR HIS BOSS CHRIS WHO NEVER CAME TO THE PHONE NEITHER DID HE RETURN MY CALL I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE WHO I AM IN CONTACT WITH TO AVOIDE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS I WILL NOW CONSULT WITH MY ATTORNEY AND MADE CONTACT WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY

I paid to have the stairlift delivered and installed for my dad and I was told I had to measure which I am terrible at and when the installers came the measurements were wrong and they guys left and we still dont have our stairlift installed and my father has to sleep downstairs in his chair. If I'm paying $2600 I want it measured and installed ASAP.

Awful Customer service. Product was actually purchased from Atlas- offered no tech support. Asked for ship dates and was given the run-around multiple times. Called 3 people Joe/Tres/Chris and was not given a straight answer. Customer is very upset with me and Ameriglide takes ZERO accountability.

I hate to write this because I don’t know if the lift is good or not. My unit is in the hallway on the floor waiting for some one to come and install it. It came 2 days ago and they don’t seem to want install it. I have called multiple times and the word is they are trying to get someone. My thought is do not get their installers and get a local handyman to install it.
