Poor attention to detail, terrible customer service
Bent frames when I picked up. Store tried to adjust, didn't work. Wanted entirely new frames, store refused. Do NOT waste your time and money with this amateur company.

Classic bait and switch. Advertises affordable glasses with exam. For that price you will get glasses that are pretty unusable. To upgrade, prices jump quite high. You're better off getting your exam separately from glasses.

I just ordered glasses for the company. It turns out the 30-day return policy starts the day you pay for the glasses...not the day you pick them up. I returned them within 30 days of picking them up and was told I was over the 30 days from the date I was given the receipt. How do I know if I like something I haven't received? Beware!!

The only reason I give it any stars is the staff if friendly. I called and asked if they did diabetic eye exams. When they asked for insurance cards, I provided Medicare and my Aetna supplement.. Nobody told me ubtil later when I called that they dont take medicare. I ended up being charged $55.00. Had I known that ahead of time , I would not have had it done. I have had eye exams for glasses (free with purchase) twice before but not annual exams.I will probably buy my glasses elsewhere.

I saw the advert on tv a few months back and thought I should give them a try. After x8 return visits ( Gratiot, MI location) and assessments & doing the last one old school not by computer I finally got the lens I needed. This also came at an additional cost. They permanently damaged the lens of my original reading spectacles in the centre (it’s now rippled) that was completed in the UK through Specsavers. The quality of work done here hey, i can’t even compare. Say what you want about the name, but at the time the specs I walked away from via Specsavers (in UK) gave me HD Vision compared to that of America Best. So my opinion, if you are in need of an annual test or lens upgrades, go somewhere else, do. It stop here. The idea of HD or Chrystal clear Vision to them is unheard of. I’d definitely skip over if you are googling where to go.

Waiting a month for a pair of eyeglasses which I sorely need is a bit too much. The doctor was great! The staff seemed okay. Ordered two pairs. One with all the bells and whistles, transition lenses, anti-glare, the usual progressive lenses which I need at my age. The second pair with only the progressive lenses as a spare pair. The second spare pair came in. Took about ten business days. Still waiting on the first pair. It's going on a month now. Had to get a pair of fit over sunglasses from Amazon. Those are great. And for $18 I got a sturdy pleather case for them AND a cleaning cloth. Did I get any of that from America's Best? You're kidding, right? I doubt I'll be going back. Maybe the first pair will be in by July the fourth, maybe December 25fh, haven't a clue. This is ridiculous

The doctor is nice and seems competent, but the wait was long and the deal was just average. At least I was excited about my new blue frames. My husband and I were ordering together. He had to change his frame choice because they didn't fit right. There was no problem with mine (though I noticed extraneous frames out on the counter and wondered about that). I was excited to get my new glasses with vibrant blue frames. When they came in, they were a pink/red color! The people at America's Best insisted I had changed the frames I ordered. My husband changed his, but I did not. I am very disappointed.

Got the eye care club many years ago. Almost had to bail as during the pandemic they went to "virtual" eye exams. Yea - like I want the Dr. to be somewhere else. FINALLY our local got a Dr. We went in. Crazy, I had eye care, my wife's had expired. Scam? We paid for eye club again. We like the frames they offer. Got new contacts. Trials worked well. Called, ordered $400 of contacts. NOW they changed and they want $5 buck to deliver them. WT#? It is less labor for them. THEY save money. And I pay extra. Next thing they will charge to use a credit card. Could have gone with Costco. Now thinking that may have been better.
