I purchase a $90 dollar pair of glasses and within three weeks one of the lens fell out. I was able to place it back into the glasses. Then within 6 weeks I simply put on a hoodie and the wire frame came out and my glasses were useless. These are America's Worst Glasses, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely The Worse Customer Service I Ever Experienced
Location: Howell Mill Road Atlanta Georgia 30318

Terrible customer service to the point that Terri the manger just walked away from me without answering my question. She went into her office and close the door in my face. My eyeglasses broke and Terri told me that she couldn’t help me. I asked her repeatedly if she could put me in contact with her area/district manager. She never answered my question, just closed her office door in my face while I was talking. After I paid over $600 dollars on my glasses! Please avoid American Best like a plague. This is the third time I had issues with the same glasses. Save yourself stress and go to Lens Crafters. I took my glasses to Lens Crafters, even though I didn’t buy my glasses from them and they tried to repair them knowing that I didn’t buy the glasses from them. The young lady at lens crafters suggested that I go to a booth in Greenbriar Mall, which I did. The young man at the Sun Shade booth in the middle of the mall repaired my glasses for $10! American Best Is The worse place you can buy eye glasses. Save yourself pain, money and regret. Try Lens Crafters

another nightmare
another nightmare ! went in when they opened at 9:00am. Told the clerk I've been here before and just need some new frames and lenses here's the prescription. OK go ahead. After about fifteen pick out two frame just in case the BOGO deal is good however this frame is #1. "I'm sorry sir our optometry specialist doesn't come in until 10:00am. You open @ 9:00am but can't do business until 10:00? I go get a cup of coffee and come back @ 0:580am and wait until 10:10 and the specialist no shows but good the district manager comes in, Tom. I tell the clerk let me just but the $79.99 frames and I'll be on my way. Oh I can't do that.. What. DM Tom can you all just ring these up? Yes but we need the specialist to do it. You don't know how? No. But sir you are the district mgr and you don't know the operations of the stores you manage? Correct. Wow! Wll here's the frames, at least we tried. This is the 2nd time in a month I've had horrible service, once @ my Eye Lab and now Americans best. I think the mass eyeglass shops business model do not work anymore, Advice to shoppers, make sure to read all reviews before going to either one of these eyeglass stores.

This place has no organization
This place has no organization, and mostly terrible employees. The website is truly bad, and it provides none of your own patient info. Disappointed and never returning.

They advertise "two pairs of eyeglasses…
They advertise "two pairs of eyeglasses and a free eye exam for $79.95". My mother paid $389 for ONE pair of eyeglasses, and she had to provide the frames.
Needless to say, they will not be getting any more business from us.

Brought my prescription in to have two…
Brought my prescription in to have two pair of glasses made for $79. After receiving them last year I wore one pair and put the other pair away in my drawer. Took them out the other day and one of the lenses fall out. I took them back and they stated the screw has broke and they can't fix them. They can however sell me a new frame for $69. Now they peddle their eye exam for $59 and didn't have to perform it but still charged $79 for the two pair of glasses. In any event, they don't stand behind their product and their customers are just walking dollar signs to them. (At least at my location in Amherst, NY)

This place is the worst!
I was waiting for an employee to work with me and my family for glasses for over an hour. This place takes their grand old time sitting around and not doing anything. There were multiple employees and very little costumers so I don’t know why it took so long. I am never coming back to this place!

This is my 3rd time....never again.
This is my 3rd time. The first 2 were problems with tinting my lenses the way I have had others do it correctly. But wherever they send them to have that done, those people are not skilled in tinting. Regardless, thought I would give them another try at the Sewell, NJ location. They apparently don't call you when your glasses are ready. I called in 3 1/2 weeks and my 2 pair glasses were there. Went to get them. Two people were ahead of me. Finally, the desk person handed me the everyday pair which should have had a whisper of gray tint over the lens. I could see they were dark at the top and almost clear at the bottom and knew they were wrong. Tried them on. The tech asked how they were. I said, the tint is totally wrong and should those cars just outside your doors (about 30' away) be clear for me to see? He said yes. I said...well they are blurry. In fact, some people in this room are blurry. The other pair were sunglasses and I didn't try those on. The tech left me and then returned with the glasses and said, these are the wrong prescription. They have to be redone. So I have no idea what to expect but after reading reviews I should have stayed away from here. I wear a triple lens.....distance at the top, a bifocal circle at the bottom, and a strip cut into the middle of the lens for middle vision. I should have known this wouldn't be good. When I came to the first visit for my exam, and selecting frames, and being measured for my triple lens, I was suspicious of the exam sequence. A young man checked my eyes for sight and for diseases of the eyes. I thought I was all done but he said I then would see the doctor?? Finally I was led to the doc who literally seemed to be the oddest 'professional' I have ever seen. He did nothing but walk around as if he was just thinking. Never saw anything like this strange behavior. The first younger man came back in and said I could leave now.....with no explanation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE would be my advice. All 3 visits were in this store over a period of several years. I seriously doubt the glasses will be right whenever I get them. But if they are, I will certainly add another review to be fair even though I won't be back. LC
