Horrible experience. I'd urge you not to get drawn in the promos and cheaper examine price at this location in Bayonne NJ. . I felt as if I was talking in circles to the rep when attempting to get samples of my updated contacts to make sure they were good while driving, watching TV, shopping etc. ( Script provided at store, but based on only the eye chart test) . I had no idea what the rep was trying to tell me. Said they don't provide samples if your script is final. ??? I went in for an eye test because i suspected I needed updated strength. I was right; got new script but could not get a few samples to take home & be sure it all looked good as stated above. Absolute unacceptable explanation for why I could not get a few samples... Before I spent 200.00 on my updated script for the Contacts just want to be sure they would be good for driving, watching TV, running. Etc. They did not even get my NAME right on the bill!!! And after I spent 30 minutes picking out 2 frames, on the wall they told me to look on to take advantage of the 2pr@ 79.95 and going to pay, I was told those frames did not fit the criteria for the promo. Even though I was specifically brought to this one area and told pick from there! Total incompetence all around. Inexperienced people working there (except for tech & Doctor who were competent). I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. Save yourself a lot of grief and avoid this location.

I give one star because don’t give the option to give -0. I took my sister for eyes exam and bought glasses (pay cash) the Customer Services a very young guy very disrespect yelling front others client get up and walk away from us leaving us on the desk.All employees just looked us other employee apology and finished our order. Took almost 22 days to send a text for us to got the glasses. We went to pick up her glasses for our surprise they was a completely different frame they said that is the one we order!!!! We have to pick another frame and wait for who knows when!!! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE

They have no respect or consideration for their customers.

Long wait even with appointment. Never called me to let me know my glasses were in after waiting over 6 weeks. No apology.

I used to have good experiences here so I brought my daughter but this time was ridiculous. The exam process was frustrating because they always covered the exam if you purchased glasses. The only difference between contact and glasses exam is the extra pressure test when they blow a puff of air in your eye. This time, you had to pay for the exam if you wanted both prescriptions and contacts even if you buy glasses. We paid for the exam and glasses. We were told that we had to sign up for a contact class. I thought it was nice they had a class but she really didn’t need one. They insisted on the class. On the day of the class, we were running behind so I called to let them know but they said they were too busy and they wanted to reschedule. I explained that she really didn’t need the class and just needed to pick up her contacts and they told me there was a law against them giving her contacts without taking a class.(this is a lie because I got my contacts in the same location without a class and there is no such law) For the glasses, the prescription was too strong. When she told them, they said well that’s your prescription so just wear them and see if your eyes adjust then come back if they are still too strong. So after $300 (they advertise $79), we have glasses that are too strong, no contacts and I have to drive 45-60 minutes to get there every time we go. I will never use this location again.

Went pick up my very expensive one pair of glasses. They hand you the glasses and you leave fitting glasses and adjusting frames are for more customer focused eyeglass outlets. I will find one of those when i need glasses next yr. as i will have to try and adjust my glasses on my own i guess because of AB lack of customer care.

Overall eye exam was good, glasses work as they should, but communication isn't there didn't let me know that they didn't take my insurance and just charged my card, I've never had any issues before this time. Didn't even take the time to look up just told me that their computer wasn't working.

I referred my son. He was 4 minutes late and they cancelled his appointment after waiting 2 weeks to get one. When I said I will be giving a bad review. They said OK. Guess the 2.5 star rating is ok with them. To many other options out there to be treated this way.
