Americas Best is actually Americas worst. My Son had no insurance. Paid a lot for cheap glasses and contacts. It’s been weeks and he still doesn’t have glasses or contacts. Terrible exam. He’s been there 3 times. They texted him that glasses were ready only to find out they scanned wrong frames. Then texted him again to pick up glasses and they couldn’t find them. He paid $340 and then $120. Don’t go there!!

Went in for contacts January 9th ordered a try pair as of January 29th still nothing requested a different brand was told I couldn't made several calls still nothing,! Go somewhere else I only went due to location never again

Absolutely terrible. I ordered 2 pair of glasses and neither one was made according to the prescription. I was unable to see anything up close with them. Do NOT go there!

Inferior products. 1st pair or metal glasses turned green in 3 months, 2nd pair scratched when using a trusted lens cleaner within 3 months and they refused to stand behind their product or even help to find a resolution.

Whenever they run a special like the one right now that says 2 pairs of eyeglasses for $79.95 with eye exam included, it's a scam. Read the terms very carefully they're misleading. "Nobody" needing single field lenses is going to get out of there with a bill of $79.95. There were 4 of us sitting at a table of 6 playing cards 2 weeks ago, laughing and exchanging stories on how we all got burned there. You better understand their prices before the eye exam. I also can't understand why they offered scratch resistance lens treatment for on line pre-orders (Costs Extra) But it's not available when you want your new lenses treated with it in store when ordering the glasses. Also... Don't count on them contacting you to tell you your new classes are in and ready for pickup. One star because the employees are pleasant and polite.

America's Worst general manager. My husband and I had eye exams and order 5 pairs of glasses. Our combined co-pays were over $800. He received a text that his glasses were ready on Tuesday and we went to pick them up last night (Friday). The general manager rudely told my husband he already picked them up last Friday (before he even received the text) and told me my order had been canceled. She is rude, prejudice, incompetent, and disrespectful. She is on a power trip and has a ghetto-mentality and demeanor. We had everything refunded and will never return. I would definitely recommend going ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE.

Prosper, Texas store. Paid about $400 for eyeglasses. Right lense has scratches on the edges, big gap in corner of frame, crooked, and poor craftsmanship all around. Regret giving them my money 💰 Buyer, beware!!

i choice America's best primarily because they took the insurance i have through work. I still ended up spending 260 in the store. I was told the protection plan could be used as needed when the lenses were scratched or any other issues occurred. My previous eyeglasses from another business gave unlimited 2 year exchange warranty with no extra charge. so now after 5 months, the lenses are bad again the nose pads are falling off and the store tells me 1 time replacement only. I went to speak with a manager there and the assistant manager never even looked away from his computer screen as he told me very rudely one time replacement, have a nice day. I am not only a lost customer for America's best but I will definitely tell any of the 1500 employees i work with to go somewhere else.-- Very poor employee attitude
