The 2 glasses for 145$ bifocal is to get u in the door. Scratch resistant extra 27.50 PER LENSE. if you want any type of glare protection 27.50 PER LENSE if you want upgrade from cheap plastic lenses 27.50 per Lense! My 2 for 145 ended up totaling 400$ with 2 pairs of frames the cheapest frame they offer.... the Dr was amazing and I absolutely adore her. So I will be going back for my exams every 2 years. Now that I understand the 2 for 145 is actually teo for 400 dollars I will be better prepared. But WAY MORE added on if you actually want quality glases...anti reflective,anti scratch and not plastic are a must for people who need quality eyewear.

I would not recommend America’s Best for your eyewear needs. If need be, it’s best to have them examined then go somewhere else to make the purchase because, their products is of poor quality.

The call wait time is terrible. The person who assisted me kept me waiting on the line for over 10 minutes. It was at the Pompano Beach branch.

This is my second visit to America's. Best. The first time was not a good experience and this one has not been a good experience either and I will not be going back. They put me on hold for 10 minutes. Never came back. I called him again the next day. They put me on hold for almost 4 minutes before they finally answered the phone. Customer service is terrible.

Got an appointment fast compared to everywhere else I had called. I was mislead by the appointment setting employee told my insurance was good not out of network.Dr was professional took time to explain issues I have with my eyes gave a great referral to specialist. For a year of disposable contacts I paid about a hundred out of pocket my insurance covered two hundred which is very reasonable. Negative was months later received a bill for almost two hundred stating that they are not in network so my insurance didn't cover that amount. should of researched into it & not just believed the appointment setter. When I called to try to resolve the issue was blown off & given run around along with rude comments that I should know who is in network with my insurance. just paid the bill but they will not gee any of my business again. Seems of lately Ive had many great experiences with very caring Drs but their staff which they usually don't have much control over are horrible.Location San Antonio , Texas San Pedro location

I went to the Fairfax office on Lee Highway for my annual contact check up. I have been using contacts for almost 40 years and have NEVER left without a “trial” pair. The optometrist usually fits me with a pair of contacts and has me read the chart to ensure a comfortable and mutually satisfying fit. I was told they do not have my prescription which is NOT an abnormal prescription. No stigma, both eyes are the same. I paid $119 and walked out with no contacts to include the trial Pair to tide me over until my contacts arrive?! Therefore I chose to take my prescription elsewhere. It was incredibly inconvenient. I think this is unacceptable!

The eye doctor seemed to be uncaring and was just "pushing buttons" to get through the "exam." I went there because they had a quick appointment opening, but after explaining to the doctor that I had started to see floaters in my left eye, nothing was done to diagnose these issues. The staff in customer service were prompt and helpful. Although having gone there for "2 pair for 95", I ended up spending $371.
