The whole move from start to finish was very well managed and I had little, to no stress. The overall coordination and communication end to end was really good! The driver was courteous and very careful, as well as being friendly. Overall such a good experience that I recommended AVL to my daughter for her big move!

Establishing communication with a specific phone number and contact should be first. Calling the advertised contact number results is not advised. Main contacts were a bit confusing as they changed throughout move. Overall communications and movers were professional amd always helpful. Movers were especially helpful and friendly, courteous and breakage was kept to a minimum and I packed but they provided extra care in moving everything. My first move to another state and I would recommend this company.

All the men that moved our furniture were GENTLEMEN!! No foul language and was respectful at all times. And it was hard for me to believe that the entire house full of furniture was padded, wrapped and moved to storage in one day. Can’t wait to make that phone call for it to be delivered to our new home.

Great moving experience! Your scheduler worked with us when I fell and broke my knee and had to reschedule. Our driver, John Kirksey arrived to pick us up exactly when he said he would at 8:30 am. He and his assistant worked tirelessly to get us loaded and ready to depart by noon and had us fully moved in by 8:30 pm 300 miles away from our point of origin! We couldn't have asked for better service!

I used American Van Lines for my move in July, and I had a wonderful experience. The entire process was smooth and efficient : they picked up and delivered my furniture in a very short time. The driver was extremely cooperative, professional, and easy to communicate with. They also handled my furniture with great care, making sure everything arrived safely and in excellent condition.
