I ordered a lot of new spring clothes this year from American Tall . Overall, I am impressed with what I have purchased! I get a lot of compliments on my updated wardrobe. Shipping times have been fine. I have not needed to call customer service for anything. I am thrilled that there are extra tall sizes for women (I am 6’ 1” tall, but have VERY long arms and legs, so I require the longer sleeve length and inseams). One thing I love is that I recently made a purchase and had an opportunity to fill out a survey regarding American Tall product, and what I’d like to see from the company in the future. I was so excited to give my feedback, and hope it helps this company continue to grow! Possibly my only complaint against American Tall is that a lot of the product they offer goes out of stock in my size and then is never again available again. Maybe Medium-size 8 extra tall tops and 29 extra long pants are just very common sizes in the tall community. They just go out of stock quicker than other sizes, then the stock is not replenished. As a result, I struggle to get wardrobe basics in the colors I like. Otherwise, no major complaints. Thank you, American Tall!

It's also refreshing to see a tall brand offer actual color options instead of just black and white all the time. That said, I’ve noticed some variation in quality over time. Their earlier collections felt more consistent, while recent purchases have been a bit hit or miss. Still good overall, but I’d recommend checking the product reviews on their website before buying. Sizing-wise, I find their tops run oversized and their bottoms slightly snug, so definitely check the size charts and, if you can, follow them on Instagram. Their ambassador program is super helpful—real people showing what they got and what size they chose, which makes sizing easier to navigate. Shipping has been decent for me, though I haven’t ordered anything recently post-tariff situation. All in all, I’m glad a brand like this exists for tall people—just be a thoughtful shopper and you’ll likely find some great pieces.

I am extremely happy I found American Tall!! I started with their long sleeve tees, and I was hooked when they had an EXTRA tall sleeve length option! Their long sleeve shirts are my absolute favorite-I have about 6 of them! A few months back, I was selected to join their Ambassador program, which I am thrilled to be a part of! With that, I’ve gotten to try more clothing options-dresses, PJ pants, jeans, and jackets. I’ve loved most everything…the jeans didn’t quite fit me the way I liked (the high waisted jean was too high for my torso) but I’m going to give them another try! I’ve also bought clothing for my sister and mom, and they love the extra length that American Tall clothing provides. I am so glad I found this brand!!!

They provide clothes that actually fit us tall men. The ones that 6”5 or better!! I just need to get my orders faster. 2 weeks is to long

Mixed experience. The website is a nightmare to navigate- especially on a mobile device. Initiating & submitting returns-ditto. But the clothes are definitely cut for talls and some of the styles are super cute. However there seems to be quite a jump between sizes (L vs. XL) A recommendation is to style clothing in such a way that alterations don’t involve pockets or can be accomplished with simple straight seams. Color palette (shell pink, midnight, slate blue) are beautiful. The maxi jersey dress with pockets was a “final sale”, perfect for an attractive lounge-at-home super comfy yet feminine option-BUT the garment had an obnoxious & strong odor that was impossible to remove (multiple washings) Unsure if odor was the result of dyes used or the fabric or the factory- but I had to throw it out. Definitely positive to have clothing long enough and in the right proportion for a tall woman (165 lbs, 6 ‘). All in all, I’ll absolutely give them another try. Especially now that I’ve narrowed in on their sizes and expected fit for my body.

As a woman who is 6’1” I am so happy to have found this company. I’ve been ordering from them for about the last 3 years, mainly lounge wear, a couple jackets and multiple pairs of jeans. I’ve made numerous returns and exchanges over the years including a few in December (I ordered the wrong size) and never had any problems. I know some people don’t like that they charge for a return but they’re hardly the only company to do this. If you’re only a little tall you may have lots of other options; if you’re like me and significantly above average then give American Tall a try!

I have so far bought a few shirts and T shirts. From my experience, they're good. Extra Length for me is a big bonus when I bend down or work my back isn't seen. Decent quality made especially for tall people. My boy friend is 6 ft 230 pounds and carry weight differently. Be careful of sizing, some XLT shirts are tighter and most XXLT sizes fit me.
