American TallReviews of americantall.com

I'm 5'9", was excited about finding tall jackets with longer sleeves. Ordered 3 jackets in size L--one fit, one was a size too small, one was a size too big. Quality control on sizes is off but quality of material and craftsmanship seems good. Wanted to exchange the two items but website won't scroll past first screen for returns. Tried live chat within their cust service window but only got auto chat. No where to call. Waiting on an email for assistance as now it's holiday weekend no live person available until Tuesday.

I like the pants and shorts, but their customer service is horrible. The email they list for "contact us" auto-replies with a message stating that email is for "outbound email only". I wanted to change the billing information and there was no way to do that through the virtual assistant. I canceled instead, but even then the virtual assistant did not work (couldn't find my order). If you know your exact size, they are ok, but I won't be buying from them since I can't ever reach a person on the phone.

The clothes were mostly ok, except for a couple of items like the cozy lounge joggers which got hole within them after 2 washes. It's a shame as you can't return these items: the cost is too high! They've got a captive audience as tall people don't really have much choice. Their athletic wear seems fine though.

The jacket I ordered for a Christmas gift arrived with a hole in the pocket. The only customer service I see is the Virtual Assistant. I didn't get a receipt so I can't do much through the Virtual Assistant. Left a three star review and it was deleted. Feel like I ordered and paid for a good jacket but received a second/irregular jacket. There isn't any customer service to help me.
