I hadn't been able to find quality beadboard where I live in California so I ordered from American Beadboard and paid to have it shipped to me. Well worth it!!! It is exactly what I envisioned and is definitely high quality. Knowing the products are made in the USA helped to persuade me to buy from American Beadboard. Lastly, I was pleased with the good customer service I received from Debbie and Bob.

I just ordered a sample. Seems like a great product. I'm concerned about shipping cost if we decide to move forward. You sent the email for this review with the wrong name embedded. I am not Charles

Robert, sorry about the name mix up on the review email. Our 5/8" beadboard is very nice because of its thickness and the depth of the bead. The only negative to this thickness is that it has some weight and that could impact shipping. When you are ready to purchase you can give us a call and we can see if shipping with an LTL freight company would be more economical than FedEx Ground.

Excellent customer service. Phenomenal product. Nothing like the chintzy panels that they sell at the big chain supply stores. A real quality product that will stand the test of time.

Although I have not started my project using the products I ordered from American Beadboard I can review the customer service I received. My delivery came in 11 packages/boxes and were packaged well by American Beadboard. Upon delivery I only received 10 and after calling FEDEX about the missing package, I was told the one missing was so badly damaged they didn't deliver it and told me to call American Beadboard to file a claim. After examining the rest of my delivery, I found several had damage inside ( I suspected damage by the condition of the packages). I received excellent customer service from American Beadboard, who replaced the missing package and the other damaged product I received almost immediately. I would not hesitate to do business again with American Beadboard, I just hope FEDEX don't get the delivery.

Our top priorities are to provide beautiful beadboard and to provide great customer service. We along with our customers hate shipping damage. It does not happen often but when there is shipping damage we ship replacements right away. We appreciate the feed back with regards to FedEx and we forwarded this review to our FedEx Representative so that they can work on corrective action.

I searched and searched locally for quality bead board for my project and found nothing short of paying my local lumber yard to mill what I wanted. That was cost prohibited. I needed a thicker board and Beadboard had it. I was a little worried about the shipping costs but understood the stuff is heavy. But, after I saw the quality of the material, I didn't mind paying the shipping. I haven't started my project yet but I'm certainly not expecting any issues when you start of with good material.
