Need to provide better communication
Here is a summary of my experience: I initially applied for a Chinese Visa online and then attempted to expedite the process by visiting the Los Angeles Chinese Consulate in person. Unfortunately, I was not allowed entry. With only 21 days until my departure, I contacted Ambassador Passport and Visa in a state of urgency, seeking expedited service. Owner Ladan assured me of their ability to assist, mentioning an average turnaround time of 2 weeks. I believed they had a special method to expedite the process beyond what the general public could access. Subsequently, I canceled my online application and sent my paperwork to Ambassador via FedEx, including the required written application. Despite the initial promise of a quick turnaround, the process ended up taking 27 days, resulting in a loss of over $1000. The lack of communication throughout the process was disappointing. I received no updates, apologies, or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. Regrettably, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Ambassador Passport and Visa services. Ronald Patterson Ladan did contact me once this review was posted. She offered to refund any or all of my fees in order to try making things right. I accepted a partial refund and her apology. I feel this gesture really helped me be less frustrated.
