In 2010, Allurez was founded by Raphi to make the jewelry shopping experience special once again. Upon researching the industry, he discovered that most jewelry sold in stores was made overseas with inferior quality to jewelry made in the USA, and was sold at extremely high prices. What Raphi did next was launch Allurez for the jewelry customer to go directly to the source, and hired the best designers and jeweler's in the industry. By doing this, Allurez revolutionized the jewelry shopping experience with exceptional quality at affordable prices. Customized for you and filled with true and sentimental value.Since then Allurez has grown to a household name and is now one of the fastest growing jewelry brands in the US. Allurez is featured in the press at Brides, the Knot, Cosmopolitan and many more.THE COMPANY NAME WAS DERIVED FROM THE WORD ALLURE.The Z was added to be a metaphor for the beginning of the alphabet to the end, jewelry is meant to be eternal and last a lifetime. It symbolized the love from the start and is to remind you each and every day.

Communication is almost non existent. I received a ring (eventually) via UPS. I had actually travelled to NYC and arranged to collect the ring whilst there! The ring never materialised despite assurances that it would. I now have the ring but no diamond certificate and I'm struggling to get an answer from Allurez. I would avoid unless you are buying something cheap and cheerful and are not bothered about how long it might take to arrive. Also note you will be charged UK tax if you are buying the ring in the UK.

I Received A Defective Item and Now Am Out $900- Stay Away From Allurez
I received a defective engagement ring. My ring was clearly pitted in multiple places, and slightly discolored on one side. It was not at all as described on the website, there is a whole cage underneath the ring that does not show in the pictures of it, as well. I was planning to propose with this ring, but now needed to return it to be able to purchase a new ring in time for my proposal. (The proposal was set for a few days later, I set it after I had confirmation of when the ring would be arriving).
After sending pictures and talking to a customer service rep several times, they said that they couldn't tell if it was damaged. I would need to return it for inspection and they would repair it, IF they decided it was warranted. I am extremely unhappy with this purchase. I was sent a defective item, and I was treated in a rude manner by customer service who did not make any efforts to rectify my particular situation. I repeatedly explained that I had only saved so much money for an engagement ring, and this one was unusable because it was defective and I needed to purchase one in time.
What should be a joyful experience has turned into a nightmare that is going to leave me in debt after carefully saving for months for this purchase. I just want a refund for a defective item.

Second time in less than six months the same diamond fell out of my ring, my husband bought my engagement ring in July of 2018 and here we are in November 2018. They fixed it once and fell out again. Poor quality, horrible customer service. Don’t buy from them we are taking it to a local jeweler

The ring was delivered with a missing stone and the center piece was crooked. It was so obvious and it makes me wonder, “why they would ship it that way?” On the second delivery Jessica informed me I would have to pay the UPS fee for changing my address, as if it was my fault! Unbelievable! Bad customer servics and not the best material quality!

Allurez tried to have this review removed twice
Ordered a watch case for husband's birthday. Credit card charged in full day of order. Email confirmation of order says will be shipped one to 7 days. Called after 7 days and told I need to send credit card and driver's license and they are not sure when it will be shipped after that. Cancelled order. What are they doing with all of the driver's license info people are sending?????????????
As a follow up - Allurez has now tried twice to have this review removed. In each case I have to justify to Trustpilot why I posted this factual review. The behavior says a lot about who Allurez is.

We found this order as suspicious as it was flagged as fraud by the credit card company. We did not process this order as the cardholder's credit card company flagged it as fraud. Nothing was charged and we did not ship the item. If you are a valid customer and actually want this item please contact us to pay with a valid form of payment.

REGRETTED MY PURCHASE. DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!!!
I had a half eternity pink sapphire ring custom made. Requested for a 4mm ring, but the ring they sent was a 3mm. I had this measured TWICE at a local jeweller with vernier callipers to reconfirm.
The ring also came tapered at the back, which was NOT what I wanted. There was no mention of tapering in the listing and the picture did not clearly show that it was a tapered back.
The actual colour of the pink sapphires were very dull and unlike what was shown on their website.
Emailed Allurez about it and they insisted that they sent a 4mm ring. They also insisted that the pictures on the website showed the tapering. Unfortunately the photos were taken at an angle where the tapering was not clearly shown. They also insisted that this is a very popular shade of pink sapphire. That does not answer why the sapphires were so DULL. It made the ring look really cheap!
The customer service staff, named Jessica, has a really bad condescending attitude when replying emails. Unfortunately I was stuck with this unhappy purchase as I am an overseas customer not based in the states.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
NOTE: THIS IS THE SECOND TIME ALLUREZ IS ATTEMPTING TO TAKE DOWN MY REVIEW! SEE? it JUST REINFORCES MY REVIEW!! THEY ARE A TERRIBLE COMPANY! I ordered a small ring on line from Allurez (a New York based on-line retailer) on 3/13/17 for $400. When I got the ring, it was not what I thought it was , so I contacted Allurez to return. I spoke to a woman who assured me that they could create the ring I wanted (to match another ring) and so I sent her a photo of my ring and the details (diamonds and pink sapphires). They then quoted me $690 to duplicate my ring, and I then paid the difference to “upgrade” to the new ring on 3/20/17. I received the ring sometime in May and gave it as a gift to my sister. Within 2 months one of the stones fell out. I contacted Allurez on 6/29 to see how to get the ring repaired? I was instructed to ship it back to them, which I did on 6/30/17. The repaired ring was delivered to me on 8/6/17 and I gave the gift back to my sister. Two days later, another stone fell out! She was very upset and then took her ring to a local jeweler. The jeweler inspected it and said it was a poor design and that all of the stones were loose and it was only a matter of time before they all fell out. The local jeweler recommended either a refund or that the ring should completely be re-made. I contacted Allurez immediately ; They agreed to completely make a new ring. I got the new (supposedly re-made) ring on 9/8/17. My sister had it re-inspected . Jeweler told her that he didn’t think it was a re-made ring, and that 4 of the remaining stones were loose! I contacted Allurez and asked for a refund. I was then told it was a custom order and non-refundable ... even if it was defective! And they suggested that my local jeweler was just sour because he didn't get the sale! Ultimately, I took the ring to another local jeweler for a 2nd opinion and he also confirmed that the stones were loose due to a poor setting design. I asked if he could "repair" the ring. He said, no, the prongs did not properly hold those stones and that a new setting would have to be made. So I contracted with him for an additional $483 to have a new ring created and using the stones from the Allurez ring. So, now I had spent $1,173 for a ring that was supposed to cost me $690. At that point, I decided to post a few reviews about Allurez on line, to hopefully warn other potential customers. And then, after posting this review earlier this year,
Alurez saw it and then I got a call back from the salesperson to "discuss my order". I told her the story that I had to have a new setting re-made with the old stones. She said she'd talk to a manager and call me back. I then got an email saying they'd be willing to take the ring back for a full refund but it has to be in the original condition. I replied that this wasn't a REAL offer, since I had just TOLD HER ON THE PHONE that I had to have the ring re-made. So, about 5 days later I got a call from a lady identifying herself as “a manager at Allurez” . After I told her the whole story, she apologized for the treatment I received, made it sound like the other agent didn't handle this properly, and then OFFERED TO FULLY REFUND MY PURCHASE PRICE .... just as soon as I took down the negative reviews. She asked if I would return the defective setting, which I said I would do as soon as I received a refund. I actually thought the customer service was turning around. I asked her to put "our verbal agreement" in writing to me via email (being that they would provide me a full refund and I'd return the old setting and then happily remove or amend my bad reviews... ) and said I was happy to put this mess behind us. Long story... even longer.... they wouldn't put it in writing and quit returning my calls... I never got the refund or any more communication. Now, ALLUREZ is contesting my negative reviews by saying they don't believe I am a legitimate customer or had this customer service experience. They are systematically trying to get my reviews taken down. I believe in the value of warning other potential customers so I have spent additional time and energy PROVING THAT I WAS A CUSTOMER AND HAD THIS EXPERIENCE. I have provided 2 review sites, including Trustpilot, with evidence that I did make this purchase, that this was the customer service experience I had, and even providing a VOICEMAIL recording from the Supervisor at Allurez that PROVED she offered me this refund. THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM! THIS REVIEW IS NOT FALSE! THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT OFFER 100% SATISFACTION OR THEY WOULD HAVE REFUNDED MY MONEY - AS THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME AND HOW I WAS TREATED! I AM FAR FROM A SATISFIED CUSTOMER, ALLUREZ, NO MATTER YOUR CLAIM!!!

Tried to cancel order - I lost $1,519.68
I live in Canada, and I ordered a loose diamond from Allurez for the amount of $28,567 CAD. I was invoiced in Canadian dollars and so I sent the payment in Canadian dollars via a wire transfer. The details aren't important as to why, but I ended up cancelling the order before they had even mailed the diamond to me. This is where all hell broke loose.
I canceled the order on Friday, March 17th. I was told via email I should expect the money back in my account in "a couple of business days". I called the following Tuesday just to make sure everything was good to go since it is a pretty large sum of money. They informed me I would be receiving a cheque in the mail. I told them I was told it would be sent back to me, the woman said we need the wire information to do that. I asked why I wasn't told this when I initially canceled, she said she didnt know. I provided her all the information required on that same day. The following Monday (6 days later) I called my bank since the money wasn't appearing in my account yet and they said they did indeed receive the funds. It worked out to $27,047.68 CAD. I was shocked that $1519.32 was missing form the amount.
I called Allurez to ask what happened to my money. They explained to me that they sent back the exact amount in US funds that they received from me. Meaning they expected me (as the customer) to cover the spread of the conversion rate. I explained that I was invoiced in CAD and had sent CAD and so I expected to receive back my money in CAD - the exact amount I had sent. After speaking to a regular customer service person I said I wanted to speak to a manager to get this resolved.
A woman by the name of * was put on the phone. She was rude, unhelpful, and completely unsympathetic. I explained to her that because I was invoiced in CAD and sent CAD I expected the money back - the full amount. All she offered was to send a screen shot of the transfer as proof she sent back the full amount they received. I once again explained to her I was invoiced and paid in CAD. She told me she was "sure her customer service rep would have told me to send US funds because they are well trained". I explained that I was never told that. She told me she would bet her life on it. I told her I would bet her $1520 CAD if she went back and listened to the recordings of the call they would show I was never told that. And if I was wrong she could keep the money but if I was write she had to send me back the rest of the money. She did not take my bet. Through this whole ordeal she did not express one iota of sympathy for my situation. It is pretty jarring to just have $1520 go missing, and for her not to care at all just compounded my frustration.
I posted an online review and someone very very high up at the company (whose position Trust Pilot insisted I remove because Allurez complained that it was too identifying) promptly called me to ask me to take the review down as he/she said he/she would handle the situation. Well - he/she emailed me back two days later with no solution whatsoever. So now I guess I am expected to eat this $1520 cost for something I never even had in my possession.
I would never recommend anyone shop at Allurez. Because of them I am out $1,519.68.
UPDATE: Allurez contacted Trustpilot and tried to have my review taken down by saying I was not a customer. I provided all the proper documentation showing I am indeed a customer.
UPDATE 2: Allurez tried to have my review taken down AGAIN because I used the name of an employee. I have edited out the name of the employee.
UPDATE 3: Allurez complained I identified the actual position of the higher up person I spoke with so I have edited out that detail as well.
UPDATE 4: Allurez emailed me after a year of denying I was ever a customer and told me they would pay me the money I am owed, but only if I take down the reviews. I declined because I do not think I should have to lie on behalf of Allurez to get my money back
