I bought the Selena Scallop Rug in pale pink for my hallway. It arrived from India in good time, within 3 weeks, which is better than I thought. On unpacking it, it seemed a bit grubby but I wasn't sure if this was the lighting in my room. After it being down a couple of weeks it seemed to get dirtier (even though we don't wear shoes in the house). Vacuumed lightly and also brushed with a rubber brush which brought up lots of loose fibres (and I mean lots). After 4 weeks I had to use my Vax Spot Cleaner on it and the dirt that came out of this rug was unbelievable. I contacted Allan Home and just had an AI response that didn't even acknowledge the photo evidence I had sent. I have had to remove this rug from the hallway, put it in a bedroom that didn't need a rug and bought a new one from DFS. I wouldn't buy from here again.

They don’t have real humans communicating with you when you need assistance purchasing. The ai chat bot will quote you a lower price (by hundreds of dollars) and a different price will show up at checkout. With other complaints in mind, I would not shop here.

Rug that arrived was nothing like the website images. Different colours and did not correlate with the description. Also poor quality for the listed price. Contacted them immediately and provided photo evidence. No reply…ever…was well within their policy requirements to return the item but they simply ignored me so we could not return it. A roughly £700 rug supposedly (though we bought it on sale for less than that) and they simply made it impossible to return. Would not trust or ever use again.

I ordered a 12x15 Capitola rug in blue, but was not made aware of the non-refundable return policy until AFTER I attempted to return the rug due to color variation. For reference, it looked light beige and navy blue on the Allen Home website, but in person it is cream/pale yellow and very light blue (like PB chambray). Unfortunately, this color scheme didn't work with my decor, so I requested to return it. AH customer service then told me it was within the accepted 10% color variation and doesn't qualify for a return or refund. I was also told that any rug over 9X12 is considered "custom", which is also non-refundable. None of this was stated during my checkout process and the 12x15 size was listed on their site as an option, so I had assumed it was considered a standard size. I have offered to pay the shipping cost to have it shipped back in return for a refund Or a store credit that I would use for a more suitable rug, but haven't gotten a response back. After waiting over 2 weeks for the rug to arrive. Then having to record unpackaging the rug, in case of any damage during delivery and take pictures of the rug for quality, I am stuck with a rug that I can not use and a $1700 charge. I wish I had never bought anything through Allen Home's website and only hope this helps other consumers make a better informed decision. Their customer service was unhelpful and it is NOT worth the hassle!

I recently purchased a rug from Allen Home, and I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the company's customer service. When the rug arrived, the color was completely different from what was shown in the pictures on their website. While their policy states that there may be up to a "10% variation" in color, the difference in this rug is extreme. To be certain, I had the photos analyzed side-by-side, which showed a color variation of over 30% even after accounting for natural lighting differences. When I reached out to customer service to request a refund or a partial discount due to this extreme variation, they were completely unhelpful. Their only response was to dismiss the issue, claiming that "that's the color variation," and they refused to offer any compensation or take responsibility for the inaccurate product photos. Because the color is so far off, the rug completely clashes with the color scheme of our room, and it seems we are just stuck with a product we cannot use. If you are shopping with Allen Home, be very wary of the online photos, as the item you receive may look nothing like what you ordered, and you will not get any support from their team if it is wrong.

I had an awful experience with Allen Home Rugs. The company copied Pottery Barn's rug name (Capitola Rug), pictures and description. You can see it on Pottery Barn's website (look for Pottery Barn Capitola Rug). Being the fool that I was, I thought Allen home's rug was the same as Pottery Barn's, but 20% cheaper. I bought Pottery Barn's rug sample and liked it. So I paid $1700 for a 12x15 'Capitola' rug from Allen Home. The rug arrived and it was a DUPE of Pottery Barn's! It was not the same color or texture. I contacted them and they would not allow me to return my rug or refund me. So I'm left with a $1700 12 x 15 rug that I cannot use. I would stay clear of this company. Also, I gave a 1 star review on their website for the Capitola Rug and it doesn't show up. So I wouldn't trust the reviews on the website.
