The doctor I had from Allara was the first one I've ever had who actually listened to me. My bloodwork has always been in the normal range so no other doctor or endocrinologist took me seriously when I say I felt terrible, and I felt SO seen and heard. The dietician also has taught/helped me so much - I think my experience with Allara made every dollar spent well, well worth it!

The knowledge the Allara providers have been able to share has been well beyond any doctor I have ever seen! It is so refreshing to finally have care from people that fully understand the ins and outs of PCOS.

I've been a part of Allara since I believe May 2022, the doctor I've been seeing is great, she not only goes over my blood work but explains everything means in a way someone, not in the medical field could understand. The dietician has been extremely helpful, she checks in with me about once a week and assists me through any hurdles I'm struggling with via food etc. I've lost weight with their help, I've managed my menstrual cycle and I've fought through issues with food with all of their help.

I love Allara. The team is so supportive and on top of figuring out my PCOS!

I joined Allara in January. I see Dr. Henigsman and Genevieve. This team is amazing. I came to Allara knowing that I have PCOS, but I wasn't getting the help from my OB that I needed. I immediately felt at ease with Dr. Henigsman. At first I thought it would be weird to have virtual appointments, but once I met Dr. Henigsman she put me at ease. My first appointment was over 30 minutes long and it was the first time that I felt that a physician was listening to me. I was sent for labs and at the second appointment each lab result was explained to me in a way that I could understand. I learned more abut PCOS then I ever knew. I was prescribed medication and told the reasoning behind its use. After this appointment, I met with Genevieve, the RD. She is so nice and knowledgeable about nutrition and PCOS. She came up with a sustainable diet plan that I can actually follow. I am feeling so much better with this team on my side. I have more energy and my labs have really improved. I have even lost a bit of weight which feels great. I really think Allara is worth it and I am so happy that this platform exists for women with PCOS.

Dr. Henigsman and Dr. Sanders have gave me so much hope and a desire to fight for my well-being. They are available when I need them and listen to my concerns and what I want to accomplish. They also give me practical and manageable steps to reach my goals. Even though I just started on this journey (2 months), I already feel physically and mentally better. Doctors I have dealt with before are dismissive, threw medications at the problem, failed to explain things and didn't really listen but Allara has changed the game. Thank you!
