My provider (Jessica Medina) interaction was professional, but the overall experience raised some concerns regarding both billing transparency and the completeness of the lab evaluation. First, insurance coverage was not confirmed until after my initial appointment. As a patient, this meant going into a medical visit without knowing what my financial responsibility would be. After the appointment, an Allara associate contacted me via text message and reassured me about the “Allara Promise,” which states that the initial appointment would cost no more than $75 regardless of insurance. However, when I followed up later, a different associate told me that this policy only applies to cash-paying customers. This directly contradicted what I had been told earlier, and the conflicting information made the billing process feel unclear and left me unsure which statement was accurate. Second, the lab workup for fatigue and hormonal health felt incomplete. While several standard labs were ordered, some commonly recommended markers for women’s health were not included. Tests such as ferritin (iron storage), vitamin B12, folate, and magnesium are often important contributors to fatigue and can be low even when a standard CBC appears normal. Including these markers—or offering them as optional add-ons—would provide a more comprehensive evaluation and could reduce the need for additional rounds of testing. I would encourage Allara to improve transparency around insurance verification and ensure that billing policies communicated to patients are consistent across staff. Expanding standard lab panels for women’s health would also help patients receive a more complete assessment during the initial evaluation.

My appointment with Seemin Charania was such a disappointment. She did not greet me, was rude, and did not make me feel comfortable. I just wanted to end the call right away. Will no longer be booking through here.

ANOTHER MONEY GRAB SCHEME. I found Allara through a targeted ad claiming PCOS care/treatment that cost $0. FAKE 5 star REVIEWS BELOW BEWARE even a nurse consult will cost you the price of your SPECIALIST COPAY. And every consult after! Do NOT waste your time and go to a real doctor! All they test for is your standard hormone panel.. Notice how all the 5 star reviews are the posters only review?! It’s giving FAKE! Nobody is setting up no trust pilot account to post a positive review!!!!

I previously left a review about the unresponsiveness of the admin team. Allara responded back to my review here saying the issue was identified and resolved. While I did get a response on that same day they left the response to this review, I had an important follow up question to the message I got regarding a prescription change. It has now been 8 days with no response. The response time issue apparently has not been resolved as the representative on this site stated. I just wanted to point that out as I don't want people getting the impression that this was a one off and that the issue has been resolved. It has not. I look forward to updating this review with a positive outcome once the response time is actually improved by Allara. Thank you.

Scam. They lie and tell you it is going to be $60 but then after they "submit" it to insurance, the price doubles. It's an absolute scam. They force you to put a card on file and will give you 3 days to pay it automatically. The biggest scam I have ever seen. Liars and thiefs

The doctor was great and did really extensive test. However, they’re advertisements claim that this consensually can be free with your insurance however, it is not it is whatever your specialty doctor rate is plus the cost of any test that you need to have done the test that I had done was over $200 not to say that that was the problem. But the issue really came in when they prescribed me a medication that was not covered by my insurance. There’s no direct way to communicate with the doctor and their support team does not respond with a timely manner. I literally had to cancel my membership in order to get a response from their support team in a timely manner they do not care about your actual health and someone who actually suffers from PCOS this stress that this caused was not worth working with them. I do not recommend them. I do recommend just seeing a regular endocrinologist.

WARNING: Do Not work with Dawn Estelle, she does not listen when you speak, she will not remember you as a patient. She makes up her own judgements that are different from the last apt, rebellious, will only speak to you in apts so she can collect your copay, will allow your symptoms to get out of control and doesnt know how to properly submit prescriptions. Dont waste your time with this provider!!!

On the first visit, the "doctor" ordered a 9-panel blood test, despite me reporting overall healthy lifestyle. The blood test revealed all normal results. Despite being in the normal zone, she recommended I take a hefty amount of Vitamin D and Fish Oil. I get my bill for the blood work. It is over $3000. Insurance denied. I contact the blood work company. They said Allara coded the work improperly and to contact Allara. I contacted Allara and their "patient concierge " did nothing but just apologize for my experience. They said they have nothing to do with the issue and to contact my insurance company. I asked Allara, what am I supposed to say to insurance company? I have no experience in healthcare and do not know how to explain how they coded it wrong. Whatever man. They should have at least explained that getting my blood drawn was going to put me in a financial hardship or kill my credit. They did say they could resubmit as self-pay and the price will decreaee. What a rip off. They do not care about your health. They did not address my concerns, instead, they took advantage of me.
