There is not a lot of help for menopause. They suggest supplements. They really shouldn’t advertise menopause as something they treat. Just to put in perspective. I am 47 and have been suffering from a myriad of symptoms. My blood work suggested I was not only menopausal but post-menopausal. I was told my blood work was normal for a woman in my stage of life and got some suggestions for supplements. If you’re looking for help with menopause, post or peri, platforms like Winona and Alloy are better options.

The actual medical staff are wonderful, but the customer service and insurance filing process is painful. My messages go unanswered and every single insurance claim has been filed incorrectly so far. My insurance has tried to contact Allara repeatedly but it's radio silence.

I have been using Allara Health for over a year now. In that time my doctor and nutritionist have been switched because of restructuring. Which was disappointing. The new doctor I was assigned I don’t care for. Trying to get your medication refilled is a nightmare. You can never actually talk to customer service. You use a platform that says they will get back with you in up to 48 hours. I’ve had to request my medications to get filled multiple times. This past month I had to take it late because they never sent the refill in on time. I would suggest finding another company. I am certainly looking.

I loved the provider I saw…. She was lovely and so informative and helpful. Everything else since then has been pretty awful. For paying a fee for “concierge service” I have gotten far better and more prompt care from my doctors office without having to pay them a fee. I truly fail to see what the fee for the platform is, you’re not provided with anything, actually getting something accomplished is impossible and you just get the run around. I obtained and uploaded my own labs after asking multiple times if they had them and being told yes. Medication that I have taken before needed a prior auth, approved in the past, nothing has changed, yet it was denied now since not all of the correct info was submitted. Beyond frustrating. The only thing keeping me from possibly continuing is the wonderful Dr but I am feeling it’s not worth it overall.

Beginning Stages I am in the beginning stages of Allara. I must admit, very disappointing. First, the site was giving me problems and unable to log in. Five minutes and the doctor hung up. Grateful for the waived charges but the company should have disclosed a grace period. Second, the company did not disclose majority of providers are not approved through BCBS. Therefore there’s nothing available for the remainder of the year. Finally, I’m concerned about their their commitment to clients. Update 5/3/24. Thank you guys for promptly responding I have received notification of a RD.

I went with symptoms such as fatigue, hair loss, rapid weight gain. I already had a diagnosed thyroid problem. All of my labs were fine and I wasn't heavy enough to receive a GLP-1 medication. I'm glad to see good labs but I was only recommended supplements. I cried during the appointment because once again I'm in the same spot. I was appalled at the end of the appointment when the Dr. asked if I should check in with my doctor about mental health. It felt as if she was implying all of this was in my head.
