If I could give zero stars, I would. Allara Health presents itself as an online provider that will review your bloodwork and walk you through a personalized health plan — but that’s not what happened. Instead, they charged my card before ever providing a comprehensive plan or meaningful service. When I reached out for support, I was met with silence. Multiple emails went unanswered, and their customer service was nonexistent. It felt like they disappeared the moment they got my payment. I do not recommend Allara Health. Save your time and money — go to your primary care doctor instead of falling for what feels like just another “get slim quick” scam.

This appt was disappointing. Neely didn't dive deep into my regular diet or exercise routine and straight away jumped to the conclusion that my food habits were bad. The intake form asked what I had for meals recently to which I responded with a chicken-beef-veggie soup and prior to that an okra stir fry with a small side of rice. Just based on that she said my current food habits were a mess and needed a lot of work. She didn't say why she felt that that or even ask what went into these dishes. And I specified that I don't eat the same thing everyday - I have a rotation of recipes through the week which we didn't even go into. I would recommend getting a more indepth understanding - ask a little more about the actual recipe, the macro and micro nutrients before assuming.

I would never recommend this company. I had a terrible initial appointment. It was a complete waste of time. I’m completely fired up because how they’re handling this situation. They said they would make up for it with another appointment but I ended up just canceling entirely. My initial appointment was about 30 minutes. I left with no answers. No goals. So I just decided to thank them and move on. Then I get a bill sent to me for $120. For what? They tell me it’s for my first initial appointment. I told them the one where I was completely unsatisfied? Yes. That one. No matter what I need to pay that. Crazy. Don’t waste your time. Look up Joi and bloks. Amazing company. Got all the answers I need. Blood work included.

Apart from Allara being completing unhelpful and the lady I was working with literally just recommending birth control, there was an attempted charged on my card from them. My subscription has been cancelled for over 2 months and says so when I tried to log back in and contact them.

I had four appointments with Allara—NP, OBGYN, dietitian, and CNM. Each one was a waste of time and money. Allara presents itself as a women’s specialty platform for hormonal and metabolic care, but in my experience, they lacked both competence and follow-through. I have Hashimoto’s. My endocrinologist abroad prescribed levothyroxine, which I’ve taken before and felt significantly better on. I came to Allara while trying to conceive and then became pregnant, a time when thyroid health is critical. Despite this, and despite guidelines recommending treatment when TSH exceeds 2.1–2.5 in women with thyroid antibodies, I was told, “It’s not over 3 yet,” and denied treatment. At my first visit, they insisted I repeat labs I had just completed elsewhere, which led to unnecessary costs and redundant testing. Later, I raised concerns about low ferritin and requested to explore iron treatment, but was told to "wait for your OBGYN." That phrase became the default answer to every concern. Their approach felt dismissive, inflexible, and lacking basic clinical judgment. This is a platform built on branding, not expertise. You're better off elsewhere.

My insurance got billed $490.00 for a TELEVISIT. Why? There was NO diagnosis, NO labs done, NO prescriptions written so why $490???. I met with a Dr. Yung and she showed no emotion, almost like she was disgusted to be on a call with me, interrupted me like i don't know what i was going through myself. Find yourself an in-person specialist. Not worth it. I've heard and read reviews about them ripping people off and I refuse to be one of them so I cancelled.

I should have listened to the other 1 and 2 star reviews of this company. It says a lot when over 1/3 of their reviews are 1 and 2 stars. Also, the responses that Allara gives to these poor reviews are all the same. They write that it's not Allara's standard of care. Well, at some point I hope Allara will realize that this is indeed their standard of care and that's why so many women have given them 1 and 2 star reviews. So, for my experience. I kept getting Insta ads for this company and decided to give them a try. I was diagnosed with endometriosis through surgery and was looking for some additional help. Allara didn't take my insurance, so I paid a monthly subscription fee. I first met with a doctor. I felt as though I knew more about endometriosis than she did. She told me that she didn't know what she could offer me. She then went on to tell me that my pain was likely due to underlying depression and she recommended therapy. Keep in mind that I have known endometriosis. If anyone has this condition then you know how painful it can be. For a doctor to tell me that my pain is due to depression is completely unacceptable. This doctor didn't recommend any medication or anything else. She said she wanted me to work with a nutritionist for the pain. I'm not entirely sure what a nutritionist does for pain, but I decided to go through with the appointment as I already paid for it. Now, keep in mind that I couldn't see a nutritionist for three weeks, so I had to pay a second month membership fee. When I met with the nutritionist, she was of no help. She recommended that I buy one of Allara's supplements to help with the pain. At that point, I knew that this was not the medical care that I needed. To recommend an untested supplement for endometriosis pain is just dangerous. I canceled my membership after my nutrition appointment. I don't recommend any woman with endometriosis sign up for Allara.

Buyers beware! They charged $490 for a 30 minute Telehealth appointment with a Nurse Practitioner, because of this outrageously inflated price, my 'co-pay' was $195.98. As reference, in California where I'm based out of, the out-of-pocket cost for a Nurse Practitioner Telehealth appointment can typically range between $40 and $90 depending on the provider and specific service.
